I forget the actual number of people that died from the dreaded 'bird flu'.

Maybe 500 million people died in THAT health care crisis?

Maybe more, maybe less, but the hyperbole was the same.

EVERYBODY IS GOING TO DIE UNLESS THE GOVERNMENT ACTS NOW!
