Seton Motley, the Media Research Center's Director of Communications, was on the Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck to discuss the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)'s new "Chief Diversity Officer," Mark Lloyd.
Chief Diversity Officer Lloyd is virulently anti-capitalist, almost myopically racially fixated and exuberantly pro-regulation. He is a frightening guy to have having any power at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). And yet that is exactly where he currently stands, astride the private radio industry he loathes like a Socialist Colossus.
It does not bode well for free speech on the radio airwaves, but as Seton says to Glenn during this appearance, "That's irrelevent to these people."

Great Job
Sat, 08/15/2009 - 10:09 ET by TuariSeton was great. What he had to say was royally scary of course. I can't wait to see him back on in a couple of weeks. Hopefully he'll share not only what this jerk in the FCC is doing, but also how we can combat him.

Great interview. Glenn couldn't fit it all in in one sitting.
This FCC Diversity Czar sounds like a real winner. Everybody get ready to shut up.
LYDSEXICS UNTIE!
Thanks Seton, we need to
Sat, 08/15/2009 - 10:46 ET by d1carterThanks Seton, we need to support Glenn Beck's program in every way we can. They are coming after Beck's program now, but who is next. We can not allow these companies that pull there advertising from his program to do without cost. Boycott those companies today!

I wonder
Sat, 08/15/2009 - 12:01 ET by UpNorthif the Supremes would find anyone had "standing" to take this administration to court over appointing "czars" who aren't accountable to anyone? The idea that this waste of space would have control over the airwaves is as frightening as the idea that Obama wants to impose healthcare on us, when he won't lay out what the plan will look like.

Czar (or Tsar) is Russian for Caesar, interestingly enough.
No citizen's right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, or property is safe as long as Obama is President of the United States.
I already do those things.

It's working. Why else would the President have to claim the Press was inaccurately depicting the Town Halls? HE TELLS THEM WHAT TO SAY! If he feels the need to complain about a press that is totally in his vest pocket, then you know he's in deep trouble.
Time to turn up the heat! :-)
Get a Lawyer QUick.
Sat, 08/15/2009 - 12:02 ET by pbthinkerThe Broadcasters better lawyer-up quick. I have a feeling they might have to carry this to the Supreme Court and get a judge to shut it down all the way through the process. These people can't win the battle of ideas; but their courts can do some severe damage abridging the 1st Amendment.
All of those broadcasters, who think that Fox News isn't a real organization and Rush Limbaugh needs to be knocked down a peg, had better join in the lawsuits. Things tend to be cyclical and Republicans can get back in power and appoint their people to create havoc.
The way NPR and the alphabet networks cover the news, they had all better be careful what they wish for, we could actually have real diversity!!!
Election 2008-God's way of showing us that elections count.
Red Dawn is Coming
Sat, 08/15/2009 - 18:13 ET by Redrowan2000Hey,
Lawyer up . call your congressman or senator but then you better get your 2nd amendment rights in order. I thought congress was the only body to levy taxes but if this czar can do it, the isolation of small conservative stations is at risk. Rush (Not a big fan of) is the target. Then they will whip the smaller staions in line.
"Don't let the bastards grind you down."
