The CEO of PepsiCo is a long time supporter of Obama and has even gone as far as to change the logo of Pepsi to more closely resemble Obama's logo for his run for the presidency. They are also running a campaign call "refresh America" with Obama in mind to "refresh America". They have even named a brand of spring water for Obama!
Pepsi products include: Pepsi, of course (until now I drank DietPepsi, no more), FritoLay, Quaker Oats, Tropicana, Gatorade, IZZE (whatever that is), and Sobe.
This is your chance, albeit a small one, to have an impact on how things are run in this country. Hit 'em in the pocket book! Pass the word.

The irony is that the adoration of a US president is exactly what President Washington fought and railed against. He and the Founders were extremely aware of the dangers looming when the president is seen as a king, or royalty. They spoke and warned us often about the temptation of such ill-placed political worship.
How right they were. As we are witnessing right now.
