Here lies...
January 2, 2009 - 18:03 ET by choselife3xThe Hon. Roland Burris 'token negro' and seat warmer extraordinare. He proudly followed in the illustrious footsteps of his predecessor, voting 'Present' because there was no, "I have no frigging clue" button.
He enthusiastically supported women's 'right to choose' while vigorously battling the death penalty. Truly, a man that Chicago delighted to honor.
In imitation of his hero, Glorious Supreme Leader Obama, Senator Burris was buried @ss upwards to allow continued access by the lips of the American media.
He was a true visionary, a trend setter. For now every self-respecting Democrat politician follows in this hallowed tradition.
Rest in Peace Roland Burris

January 2, 2009 - 18:44 ET by mizflame98I may not be a Mason or a builder by any stretch of the means, but shouldn't that masoleum be constructed a bit better? Why are the colums sticking out farther than the edge of the peaked roof? Is that light I see shining through the joints where the back wall and the roof meets? I thought that in order to appreciate the look of marble the construction should look as seamless as possible. This looks really thrown together. My 3 year old can construct higher quality buildings with his leggos. I guess this is what you get when low class people come into some money.

In short, it's a win-win-win-win-win situation for us who are strict constructionists!

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Burrisias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away

Dateline Murajab 8, 3145 AH:
"Archaeologists are now confident they have a handle on the inexplicable "Burris" structure they found. At first they thought it was the long lost ancient American 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier', but since it had a name on it, they then reasoned it couldn't be.
But, lead archaeologist Dr. Ibn-Al Maish has surmised that "Burris" is actually the Indo-European root for "burial" so he is confident that that is indeed the location of the ancient Arlington Cemetery. Mystery solved! Praise Allah!"
