For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: Is the Obama team hoping the financial crisis deepens?

As my colleague Seton Motley pointed out this morning, Obama's Chief of Staff has made statements suggesting that the new administration is looking to take advantage of this crisis by offering policies that Americans wouldn't approve of if things were better. Is Obama therefore doing a Roosevelt? For some background:

After the [1932] election, Roosevelt refused Hoover's requests for a meeting to come up with a joint program to stop the downward spiral and calm investors, claiming it would tie his hands. The economy spiralled downward until the banking system began a complete nationwide shutdown as Hoover's term ended.

Some historians believe Roosevelt did this intentionally so as to put him in position for bolder policy proposals once he was inaugurated. As Obama hasn't even appointed a treasury secretary, and has kept his economic plan close to the vest, is it possible he's doing the same thing as FDR and secretly hoping things continue to spiral out of control before he's inaugurated thereby giving him more power to do what he wants?

All socialists and would-be tyrants prey on catastrophe and unrest to push their agendas and build power. Those of you who will respond negatively to the previous statement better do some research in real history books.

BDS at it's worse. The change we need to is to unravel the socialistic "reforms" that have been plaguing our country for nigh 100 years now and get back to the Constitution. Progressive taxation, government handouts, cradle-to-grave nanny-ism is not what our founding fathers intended. They intended to provide the American people with cradle-to-grave freedom so that we could rise and fall on our own.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31

I agree completely. As you

I agree completely. As you say, read the history of leftist/socialist/Marxist regimes and the case is proven. The target of opportunity is the middle class, and the strategy is to introduce social and cultural chaos at every level by causing distrust toward or the collapse of traditional institutions, i.e. the family, schools, business community, police, medical, church, media, you name it.

In our country, the prime (but not only) target has been the family (the gay marriage nonsense being only the latest example). Stay at home moms, the role of fathers, traditional families values have been mocked for 40 years. Why? To create cultural imbalance and chaos. There's an interesting book called Men To Boys: The Making of Modern Immaturity by Gary Cross I have been reading lately. In a nutshell, Cross writes about the coordinated attack on the masculine male, traditional male roles etc which have been under bombardment for almost two generations now, both in the USA and Europe. The result? Huge numbers of sissified males, males who can't make the transition from boy to man are all around us.

Now we have the planned collapse of the economy to create even more social chaos. The last thing Obama wants right now is an economy that is trying to heal itself.

Yep, We Are

Well, as John the Baptizer had to diminish when Christ assumed his rightful and godly role as Messiah (don't tell the "O" because he thinks he's the messiah), so the US will diminish and the EU, that bastion of satanism, will take over in the New World Order. We won't lose everything, but we sure will take a back seat for about seven years.

Bring on the Trump of God and the archangels. I'm ready . . .

Of Course

Obama is a practiced agitator and implementer of Saul Alinsky's tactics, it only makes sense for him do this.

A good read at American Thinker at this link:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/01/obamas_alinsky_jujitsu.html

And an excerpt from the same article:

The agitator's job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the "realization" that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent "self-interest" in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.

Of course, the "harassment" term can be taken now as "depression" or "pain" the masses would feel with purported terrible economic condditions.

After the 2008 election McCain accepted Obama's request for a meeting to come up with a program to grant amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens and to totally devastate the labor market for American citizens. They also agreed to stop the border fence construction and to create a financial support program for needy immigrants.

One item still to be resolved is the issue of Spanish speaking only schools. It is believed that both men agreed that Ted Kennedy was a natural to head up this group.

I know this is not the subject but

I want to vent about the new findings on Joe the plumber that I heard for the first time on FOX last nite, and I am guessing, they are the only ones carrying that info.

When Joe first came on the scene right around the beginning of football season, I saw that little interview with Oprah's Messiah the very day it happened. It started out to be a very innocent exchange of a question, and an answer. I think it was on a saturday, and I picked up on the Marxist answer right away, before it got any play in the MSM. AOL via AP, almost immediately picked it up, and put it out with their spin, on a blog, and left it open for comment. I put out my comment, and immediately got some favorable comments , but then, AOL threw my comment under the bus. And then.....I saw all these hatefull comments coming in on the same blog, and they were talking about how he wasn't really a plumber, he didn't have a license, he missed child support payments, he owed back taxes, and there were other derogatory  things said about him.

I couldn't figure out how these people got all this info, were spreading it in such a hostile way, the story about Joe had just barely been out. Well....if I am to believe the news I heard on FOX lasr nite, not one, but several people in Ohio State government, were immediately going thru all kinds of private files on this average guy and leaking this info to the MSM, and anybody else that wanted to play with it.

We, as Americans, can not stand for this. This is absolute top of the line Bull Shit! This one woman, Jones-Kelly, her name has been out there for weeks, supposedly the only one at first to be involved, gets a month off without pay, and she's back on the job. Oreilly says that's O K, he doesn't want to see her fired. For crying out loud, this maliscious kind of stuff has caused this man a ton of grief for asking a simple question. I've had lies spread about me in the past, but this guy has been ostracized on the spit for months by the MSM, and what did he do,..... asked one simple question. Government's number one job is to protect it's people, this kind of stuff is so UN-AMERICAN. Joe the plumber, please sue the state of Ohio! I quit AOL over this, and feel good about that anyway.

I've heard that too....and

I've heard that too....and this is an Open Thread so anything goes.

I agree with you that it's disgusting, but there is no road too low for them to take to destroy an enemy;, and the media play along.

Remember the Republican staffer who found, on an open computer, plans by the Democrats to hold up judicial nominees until they had more support to block them?  Do you think Kennedy and those guys got any criticism for their plot?  No, all the attention was on "how did they get the information" and the staffer had to resign for reading stuff he found on a nonsecure computer!

They have no shame.  If Joe the Plumber didn't have a license, or owes back taxes, he has no business asking the Chosen One a question???? This is the same old "politicsl of personal destruction" that Obama supposedly denounces, but with him hiring staff from the Clinton administration, what else can we expect?

Who's next on board...James Carville? Paul Begala?

I'm not surprised O'Reilly is acting mushy on this.  As far as I'm concerned, he's losing his nerve, has become way too accomodating, and that's why I don't watch him any more.

You can bet if it were a Republican official peeking into records, Matthews, Olbermann, Cafferty, and the rest of them would be screaming for his head!

Fox & Friends this morning

They had an interview with "Joe the Plumber." It seems his personal records were accessed 18 times in that first 48 hours, 14 times by that woman who got a month suspension. And the media says.... <crickets>.

Yep, the "party of individual rights" has no problem with blatant violation of those rights when it serves their crass purpose. Today it's Joe the Plumber. Who will it be tomorrow?

This also should serve as a good example of what an "elitist" is, for all those who couldn't understand how Obama got that tag. It shows an "above the law" attitude that is hardly lacking in those on the left.

Be prepared for more examples of this type thing. The question is, how much of it are we willing to put up with? When our government won't protect our rights, seems to me that leaves only two choices:

  1. Accept the loss of those rights, or

  2. Protect them ourselves.

you're kidding right?

Joe's name and story was brought up (15times) by John McCain during a presidential debate veiwed by over 40M people.  Of course people, blogs, news outlets are going to ask questions about this guy and his credibility....and by the way, you may not now this but he also hit the proverbial lottery by asking the question to Obama and become the subsequent poster child for consersatives....don't worry about Joe...he'll be fine.

Not kidding, PTW

PTW, it's not the responsibility of government officials to do the Dems' opposition research for them.  That's a clear abuse of power.

Welcome to the era of unity, you racist!

I bet you get all wrapped

I bet you get all wrapped around the axle at the mere thought the  NSA might have eavesdropped on an international telephone call with a terminal in some foreign country without a search warrant.

But let an assortment of left wing operatives within the government violate the privacy of an American citizen in the name of promoting the candidacy of the Obamessiah, and its no big deal.   This invasion of Joe the Plumber's privacy was a real crime with a real victim, not some imaginary fabrication.  It was an intrusion far worse than anything the NSA has ever done because the cowardly Democrats made this man's private data public in order to divert attention from his embarassment of their annointed one.  They misused government power to violate the law and the Constitution for political gain.

Democrats.  Leftists.  The lowest swine bred.

They absolutely want it to worsen.

That will give them the perfect excuse to expand the government as they will be saving us and such.Healthcare must be taken over as people are out of work and can't afford it.Tax cuts will be forgotten as the Govt. needs the money to help the poor. The military will be drastically reduced and bases will be closed as we cannot afford to maintain them. You can also expect your banking records to come under more govt. scrutiny as Obama will make sure no one is hiding any money and now that they have control over so many banks it will be easy.Wait till you see what happens to your 401K's.

Gay marriage....?It's a comin'.New gun laws...?They're a comin'.Speech codes...?They're a comin'.Global warming hysteria...?It's a comin'.Fast food bans...?They're a comin'.Open borders and amnesty for everybody...Si.Mandatory govt."service"...?It's a comin'.

You are about to witness the biggest rollback of your personal freedoms this country has seen since the civil war.

A decline in our status as a super power...?It already started.

Obama is going to do for America what he did for the people of Grove Parc Plaza.

The economy will come back

The economy will come back in spite the kind of regulatory polices that Obama has in store. And when it does come back, don't you know that the media will  be calling it the 'Obama recovery'. Obama knows that the media will report anything he does as 'brilliant', 'bold' and 'genius' so he basically has carte blanche to be as ruthless and despotic as he pleases when it comes to the economy.

unemployment

Hey all thoes people getting laid off should just go take a job away from the 20 million illegles. there goes the unemployment numbers to less than 4%. Oh Damn thats right they would have to work. I forgot that.

How many union auto workers drive foregin cars????

Heck they should know whats the best bang for your buck right?

Obama's big mistake

If Obama is doing what FDR did to Hoover, he is making strategic mistake.

FDR had from the beginning of November till the middle of March to sit on his hands which allowed almost five months of turbulence to give him his edge.

Obama has only three months of trouble before he takes over. That two month difference will make the current economic trouble his, not Bush's.

That and a euthusiatic MSM are creating a no win for him if he does play FDR's card of letting choas invade the markets.

What is so interesting is that he has fallen in love with Lincoln as if he has stolen the mantle of his legacy from the Republicans while he casts himself in the mold of FDR.

The question arises of what does he think he is fighting, the second civil war or the second great depression.

In either case, he must marshall up his forces and if he doesn't do it quickly, he looks like a do nothing president. If he does it too fast, he owns the depression.

Can't agree, legacy,

You're forgetting the love-affair between the media and Obama. They aren't going to let any of this splash on their Messiah.

As an example, just saw (in passing) a news report where some aides are in trouble for accessing Obama's email or something. But where (besides Fox) is the story about Joe the Plumber's info being accessed by a public official and spread around? That story should be HUGE, but there's been nary a peep.

Hitler knew that controlling the media was key. It's why he had a Minister of Propaganda. His name was Goebbels, I believe.

The only thing about this financial crisis that Obama will ever be tied to is it's eventual "solution." The media will see to that.

Why is the agent of "hope and change" turning to Washington insiders and former elected officials to fill his cabinet? This is "change we can believe in?"

I'm starting to think Obama is just a Trojan Horse. An appealing, "electable" guy, who will finally bring the left to unchallenged power in this country. How? By appointment. Daschle, Clinton, that "Washington lawyer" whats-his-name. Just a different face on the same old policies.

Never saw "The Manchurian Candidate," but I think there are parallels here, right?

Many historians have noted that FDR's economic policies prolonged the Great Depression, just as the current bailout solutions will prolong our economic recovery. Just what the Ds hope for, of course.

The is nothing the President can do!

Hoover was an interventionalist and helped cause the problem like Bush is now. All the president can do is to reduce spending and demand lower taxes. That is it. No amount of central planning will fix the problem, it will only make it worse.

PT,

Why not? This wasn't anything complex or scientific. A couple of measly sentences about history. I don't mind sourcing them for things so trivial, especially in an Open Thread.  ns

This is a manufactured crisis

It is being hyped and sold as a"Global Economic Crisis" to enable sweeping socialistic changes to the U.S. This is phase 2 of the plan that was started in the late 1910's and the first major implementation of which was the stock market crash of 1929 along with the manufactured "Great Depression" of the 1930's.The primary actor in the plan is the Federal Reserve in cooperation with most ( if not all) of the other 'central banks'. Globalization of the economy is the goal along with a single "world currency".

Remember, just like Wall Street Firms who don't make their money from stocks and bonds going up or down, but instead make their money from the churn, the world's big banking institutions make their money from the flow of funds from one area to the next. It would be much easier, as well as opening up more areas to exploit, if everyone used the same currency.

Hey, I got the wrong "CHANGE"!

Alan Keyes / Sarah Palin - 2012

Correct!

You hit the nail on the proverbial head with this one. Everything the government's been doing since Cecil John Rhodes proposed a new Tower of Babel has been government planned, manipulated, and orchestrated. They just left out the ONE who's really operating the control booth: GOD. Ergo, they'll either be pawns for the devil or players for GOD. I believe we know which side liberals are on because they've all but said so. Government is their god as is anything anti-Christian; and so they must do all they can to remove the real ONE.

Presidential Secession

Out of the blue my wife ask me who would take over if both the POTUS and VPOTUS died. I knew it would be Nazi Pelosi. I didn't know who would be next so I looked it up. The President Pro Tem of the Senate is ncxt. Right now that is KKKK Byrd. After that the Secretary of State. That scared me. I didn't realize that if Hillary becomes SOS she is in line for POTUS. WOW can anybody remember what happened to Vince Foster, Barry Seale or others that got in the way of the Clintons?

Geithner it is.

The market was waiting for the Obamination to appoint a Treasury Secretary since Obama's has not history or experience and the Stock Market is all about confidence (or lack of).

I think Obama will do what Roosevelt did and separate himself from Bush to secure the economic downturn as Bush's and not his.

Unfortunately people have short memories. If the economy does turn around in the first half of '09 then he will have no problems. However, if he is like FDR then he will impose a socialist agenda and make the economic situation far, far worse.

I am reluctant to heed any direction from his Cabinet appointments. Presidents are known to listen initially to their closest advisors and we have not seen them yet. In foreign policy Nixon listened to Kissinger and not the Sec. of State William Rogers, and during the first terms of Bush Jr. it was Rice calling more shots than Colin Powell. So who knows if Obama will even listen to Hillary or Geithner.

Bingo! This could be the last time we celebrate Christmas. After the O is inaugurated, it might be changed to something anti-Christlike. BTW, the people got Saul because they demanded an earthly king. They wanted to be like other nations. God was all they needed, but they chose to go the other way, which brought about the reign of Saul. The rest is HIS STORY. And it always repeats itself. Liberals and sanity

A reminder-- posted before-------

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."

This was someone commenting on this article by a Columbia professor; http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122610558004810243.html

It is brilliant satire:

By T. Coddington Van Voorhees VII
Columnist, The National Topsider
Membership Chairman, The Newport Club

When
my late father T. Coddington Van Voorhees VI founded the iconoclastic
conservative journal National Topsider in 1948, he famously declared
that "Now is the time for all good conservative helmsmen to hoist the
mizzen, pour the cocktails, and steer this damned schooner hard
starboard." In the 60 years since he first uttered it after
one-too-many Cosmopolitans at one of Pamela Harriman's notorious
foreign policy black tie balls, father's pithy bon mot has served as a
rallying cry for conservatives from Greenwich to Chevy Chase. Today, I
say it's time we conservatives once again grab the rigging, and set
sail with the flotilla of the true conservative in this race: Barack
Obama.

Trust me, I haven't taken this tack lightly. No Van
Voorhees has supported an avowed socialist since
great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great
grandpapa Cragmont Van Voorhees lent Peter Minuet $24 and a sack of
wampum to swing a subprime mortgage on Manhattan Island. Old dad
himself often recounted how, as a lad, he would command the family
chauffeur Carleton to drive the Duesenberg down to the Times Square
Trans-Lux so he could hiss Roosevelt. But I've taken a good measure of
this Obama fellow, and I must say I like the cut of the man's jib.

How
can I say this, you ask? One look at this Obama chap is all the answer
you need. Suave, tanned, unflappable, Harvard connections; it's obvious
that here is a man to the conservative manor born. One imagines him at
the helm of the Ship of State, basked in the sunlight diffusing through
the seaspray over the bow, like some beautiful rugged Othello from a
rapturous Ralph Lauren catalog, calmly issuing instructions to the deck
crew in that magnificent mellifluous baritone of his. It's that
easy-going, almost effortless grace that has all the A-list
conservatives like David Frum and Kathleen Parker whispering
Reaganesque in hushed tones. Even Peggy Noonan -- the Grand Dame of
Gipperism -- has succumbed to Obama's undeniable conservative charms.
Just last month I listened to her wax poetic about the Adonis of
Chicago between chukkers at the Newport Club polo tournament final.
"Why Peggy, you old dowager," I quipped, "I believe you just had an
orgasm."

Certainly, my endorsement has raised more than a few
eyebrows around the National Topsider water cooler, particularly among
the alumni of jejune cow colleges like Michigan or Dartmouth. They
sometimes point to Mr. Obama's radical Rolodex and his hooey about
"wealth redistribution" and "dictatorship of the proletariat." But, as
I patiently explain, this is precisely the point - it is hooey,
over-the-top rhetorical flourishes obviously designed by Mr. Obama to
win over benighted inner city hoi polloi (a feat, I might add, that
even the Great Communicator himself was unable to accomplish). As for
his so-called radical ties, who among us hasn't sent dinner party
invitations to Gore Vidal and a leftwing terrorist or two to enliven
the postprandial conversation? Leonard Bernstein loved hosting all
manner of Weathermen and Black Panthers and Symbionese Liberation Army
celebrities at his Park Avenue pied a terre, but it didn't mean the
Maestro wasn't in favor of low taxes. On the contrary; I know for a
fact he itemized every cent of the catering bills for his famous
terrorist cocktail parties.

Just so, I have every confidence
that Obama's true conservative butterfly will emerge once in office,
coaxed from its Maoist cocoon by conservatives like myself and Frum and
Parker and Noonan -- all of whom I am pleased to report are already
under consideration for the Obama Administration State Dinner
shortlist. Certainly there may be a tax increase or two, but isn't that
what estate attorneys and Cayman Island banks are for? Under a worst
case scenario some of us may have to set up a lease-back depreciation
arrangement on one or two of our vacation compounds, as Dad was forced
to in the dark years of Carter. But I'm not worried. I've got a pretty
good sense for character, and I'd be willing to bet my Weejuns that
inside this Obama fellow lives the soul a rock-ribbed old money
Brahmin. Ask yourself: could a seriously committed Marxist carry off a
Brooks Brothers suit like that? I mean, other than Dad's old commie
nemesis and Harvard fencing club foe Alger Hiss.

But there is an even more compelling reason to support Barack Obama: Sarah Palin.

If
you are a conservative like me, you guffawed when you heard John McCain
announced this declasse rube as a running mate, followed by
good-natured applause, thinking it was some sort of whimsical campus
prank he was reenacting from his Annapolis years. This was, of course,
quickly followed the shock of realizing that he wasn't joking, and all
that Hanoi unpleasantness had finally driven him around the bend.

It's
an inescapable conclusion that this woman has, in 6 short weeks,
single-handedly destroyed the Republican party. Certainly George Bush
may share some of the blame; but we conservatives must remember how our
hopes were buoyed by his impressive bloodlines and Yale degree before
we realized his excursion to Texas had caused him to "go native." But
la Palin offers true conservatives no such extenuating graces. I mean,
my God, this woman is simply awful; the elided vowels, the beauty
pageantry, the guns, the crude non-Episcopal protestantism, the
embarrassing porchload of children with horrifying hillbilly names, the
white after Labor Day. As fellow conservative commentator Andrew
Sullivan quipped to me the other day outside a Martha's Vineyard
antique shop, it's gratifying to know the Gipper isn't alive to see
what has become of his party.

But it's not just American
conservatives who are appalled. Just last week conservative New York
Times columnist David Brooks and I were enjoying an apres-badminton
apertif at the family weekend house in Montauk with my good friend
Viscount Klaus-Maria Von Wallensheim, the conservative EU Agricultural
Pricing Minister with whom I shared an Alpine chalet and manservant
during our years as classmates at a Swiss boarding school. "Kloonkie"
(my old school appellation for the Viscount) reported the growing
dismay of the Continental Right over Palin's embarrassing enthusiasm
for childbirth and Israel.

"Coddsie, old chap," he warned, "You
know I've always been America's biggest defender in Monaco. But if you
elect this ill-bred charwoman, I will be forced to move anchor to St.
Tropez out of pure shame."

David and I were left nodding
silently, for how else could we respond? If Palin has lost Kloonkie,
she has surely lost the entire conservative movement. The idea of this
dreadful woman in Washington is almost too much to contemplate. Not
only would it be a fashion disaster, one can scarcely imagine the White
House social calendar -- mooseburger fetes to that ghastly Joe the
Plumber, perhaps followed by snow machine derbies through the Rose
Garden?

For now, we conservatives must do what we can to
sabotage the ill-fated McCain-Palin fiasco and hope for the best. Once
the election is over we can lick our wounds, read the entrails, and
decide where the movement should go from here. In anticipation, the
Topsider will be holding a top-level exclusive strategy conference in
Nassau next January, featuring tout le monde of conservative
intellectuals from the Back Bay Review, The Prospective Standard,
National Bowtie, and The Swarthmorean. If you are attending, please be
advised that gentlemen's jackets will be mandatory after six PM.

Until
then, do not despair; the election of Mr. Obama means that at least
some conservatives will still have a place at the table. I do hope I
get seated next to this William Ayers fellow -- I've heard he has some
amazingly droll anecdotes!

Further evidence the GOP is beyond salvageable.

Did this country just elect Obama/Biden, or was it Soros/Ayers?

Mitch is cofused--

He thought Obama said he was going to share the wealth, not distribute it!

Hi Dave... I've been so

Hi Dave...

I've been so in and out here today, a million things going on, anyway I just got done catching up on the news here on the PC in various places, I also saw this, I also didn't like the beginning of the article whatsoever, but if you read on, McConnell is also warning the left about serious issues he will not pass if they can stop it that is...he needs 41 I think for a filibuster and it's looking mighty bleak at this point with some of the other RINOs on our side of the aisle that may defect...

I know some issues like Cap and Trade we are done in for, with McC leading the way...

It is disgusting...the only thing I guess I am saying is Mitch sometimes is sly like a fox.

I will always miss Don Nickles, Oklahoma, he was my hope for our Senate Leader....broke my heart when he left.

Evenin' bt,

All this playing nice with Obama is making me ill. Unlike 1992, the stakes are just too high this time.

This is a battle that will determine not just if this nation prospers in the future, but whether or not it even survives. If any part of Obama's agenda makes in through congress, we are hosed.

Somehow, I just don't think the GOP members in congress truly appreciate the deep squeeze we are in as a nation. These people need to be gearing up to vigorously oppose Obama at every turn. Instead, they are falling all over each other trying to make nice with the man.

Hey Dave... You know I

Hey Dave...

You know I agree with you about RINOs all the way...

I just wanted to tell you something really weird that happened since we posted here...I was turning on the tv in the back room, it happened to be on C-SPAN when it came on,  lo and behold there was McConnell making statements/speech, then taking questions....this happened to be about these remarks we are talking about in it...this news wire was taken out of contents, while I didn't hear the whole danged thing, I heard it before these words written in our links, I got mine from Drudge, and listened to all the rest of his words, all the questions and his replies, I'm not worried about McConnell at this point, at all...I do not like how this was written now that I heard it all...not one bit.

I would imagine if you want to hear what I just did, click on the C-SPAN site...it will be there somewhere...I am very glad I caught it.
