I am very afraid for our country ... if Obama is elected we will have the synergy of the worst parts of the American pysche ....Leftists controlling the executive and legistlative branches with Obama nominating Judges to the supreme court and lower courts that are aligned with his mission of creating justice out of their interpetations of the constitution rather than being blind in its applications that the forefathers had in mind for our great nation ....this coupled with a media that has climbed so far up Obamas digestive track that there will be no checks and balances .. there will just be voices in the wilderness crying about what is being done to our country
I am troubled.. I believe Obama is an appeaser .. we have seen his kind before in our history ... our enemies recognize STRENGTH .. and weakness is only something for them to exploit ... he may surprise us but my gut tells me that within his DNA is the defect of an appeaser ..
I have a unique insight into the mentality of the left .. I was once one of them .. I marched with Michael Moore in 1979 protesting a Nuclear Plant in my home town ... I was once a part of the Nuclear Freeze Movement in the early years of the Reagan administration ... .. the Left honestly think that they are trying to bring sanity and peace unto this violent and abusive world ... but what they do not understand is the basics of human nature .. they have a Utopian Vision which operates under the uneducated and naive belief that all people are good and that human beings always want to serve the greater good .. they believe that government or the masses can some how coerce and control humans into doing the right thing .. but as with all good things that come from humans it is an outflowing of spiritual giving that only can exist in an enviornment of free will .... true giving and sacrifice can only exist in a place of free will and choice
The other point of the left VS the Right is that the Right understands the depravity of our enemies .. the left some how believes that dialouge can some how turn our enemies into logical thinkers .. it is not that some enemies cant be turned around through dialogue ... but the most depraved have no capacity to understand basics concepts of the free world and free will ... they only understand the language of strength and violence .. untill the left understands that there is no moral equivency between US and them the left will remain appeasers .. because they consider US as the cause of the world problems .. not that we havnet caused problems but that we are one of the few nations that as winners of Wars do not take the spoils of war .. we rebuild the culture and welcome the losers in to the free world of ideas and competion
Iam very down about our short term outlook as a nation of Obama is elected .. I would honestly be a pessimist even if McClain is elected .. but I think John for all his life experiences is a pragamatic and logical leader with backbone

It's unclear if this was a nod to the Ayn Rand book "The Virtue of Selfishness," with all that the invocation of Rand implies.
It would seem to be, given the themes of Rand's work, what happens when independent achievers are demonized.
Which would fit with this description of those who want to keep their hard-earned tax dollars as "selfish."

What makes it scary is that he has had a willing accomplice in the press this entire campaign.
