It's going great

Just wish Mr Colmes was there too.  It would give them the chance to put down some of the liberal rants.

I'm sure it wouldn't be pretty as Sean would have to reign in some of Alan's ignorant comments.

I've got a cartoon bubble

As I sit watching the interview with McCain and Palin sitting together I've got a cartoon bubble of a new campaign poster. It features Obama and Biden sitting on a couch together with a bold letter heading that reads: 'No, to same-sex marriage'...I dunno just a thought.

Palin

Palin excellent...

McCain...McCain.

He is just good ol' John...he's been talking about what he should of could of done last night...among other thinks, I noticed he didn't say "My Friend"...miracles do happen..(of course he was reminded NOT to do that tonight...lol)

Just keep Palin on the trail, he is giving her tons of compliments now, he also said he couldn't be happier being the underdog...it excites his base...

bt... I was about to say

bt...

I was about to say the same thing. I keep getting this eery feeling that their ticket needs to be reversed.

Ct...If only

Ct...If only it could...

..she helped him in every way, tonight was a perfect example...he better keep up with the compliments...

Plus doing more of this, he was better during the second half of this interview... plus they need to keep her going on the campaign trail.

Ster, I heard someone on the radio say

that the "my friends" count was closer to 60! Don't know if it's true, but, I'm in favor of playing the game while watching the re-run...

Great so far!!!

Hannity is pushing the Ayers, Wright issues!!!

Palin and McCain are pounding Obambi...yea..."That One"!!!

ThatSter.

wow,

I'm struck by how comfortable Sarah Palin is in her role.

At one point, she was talking, and said "John McCain"...without turning to look at McCain, she just reached out and touched him on the arm.

To me, that gesture said it all.

Comfort, competence, trust, loving the challenge, determination.

They're a great team.

I missed the interview.

I didn't see the interview, but I'd love to know how come McCain didn't get on Obama about Ayres and Wright.  What on earth did he expect, Brokaw to do it for him?  McCain seems to think his job is to ingratiate himself to the audience and he just doesn't realize that he's in a war against the media and Obama.  Brokaw went over those questions and knew there were questions out there about Ayres.  Is there anyone going to tell me there were no questions about Ayres, submitted for questioning?  I'll bet anyone there were questions about Ayres and they were put in the trash.

The McCain campaign should have fought for another moderator, anyone other than the overly biased NBC/MSNBC group would have been fine.  I doubt Maureen Dowd would have been worse than Brokaw.  At least someone else may have tried to attack both sides.

McCain only has one debate to figure this out.  If he had done it this time, he could have finished the job next time.  Now he has to do both.

Hannity just lit a fire under his @ss.

Hannity made McCain comment on Ayers and Wright...lets see what he does now.  Gov. Palin is going full bore!!!

The Leftist media are charging RACISIM on the Ayers scandal???  Last time I saw that scumbag...he kinda looked...wait for it...WHITE!!!  Bambi and the media are truly scared because they are freaking out.

Great interview on Gretta right now!!!

ThatSter.

ThatSter,

Any attack that even approaches Oblabla is "racism." If you accused Robert Byrd of being an ex(? how do you tell?)-Klansman, it would be a "racist" attack, since he's an Oblabla supporter.

Thought you knew that.   ;^)

Thank you Sarah.

CLRN... Yep..I posted

CLRN...

Yep..I posted above you the same thing in my last line...

...Plus her last words with Greta about letting McCain take that one about Wright and Phleger (sp) before commercial break...

Too bad she can't be let totally loose...we would win in a land-slide...she knows she has to conform to McCain's wishes on most of his views and let him lead/speak.

Sarah

Interview much better than that "debate" - Both McCain and Palin need to realize what they are up against in terms of stupidity from the MSM:

http://latimesblogs....

The comments are hilarious.

As Glenn Reynolds (sorry, I mean Ace) sez:

That's the over-under, break-open, breech-loading 12 gauge sort of rifle.

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
Robert A. Heinlein

In an interview or a rally, Sarah seems to have such a good...

effect on McCain. He comes across better with her than without her. She seems to energize and humanize McCain, and when I watch them together I can see what a great team they do make now, and will make as president and vice-president. They seem to genuinely respect each other, and they appear to have a good relationship.

It is such a contrast to see McCainPalin side by side, and then to see ObamaBiden together. Sarah is such an exciting, energizing force in this race, whereas Joe Biden is about as exciting as watching grass grow.

I thought the interview was great, and it's always good to see McCain and Sarah in an interview together.

McCain Was Very Relaxed

BigSpoon65

I thought McCain was much more coherent tonight when he was relaxed.  Last night he was so amped up his mouth and brain were disconnected.  McCain was NOT my lead dog in this race to begin with.  I was a hardcore Fredhead and still think Fred would have made an outstanding CIC.  But I digress, we have McCain and Sarah (who I believe is a superstar).  She is Ronald Reagan reincarnated and before someone jumps in to scold me for saying that, Michael Reagan (Ronalds son) has written an article on Townhall titled, "Welcome Home Dad" that discusses the similarities.  Regardless of what happens in this election she is my candidate for 2012!  Maybe Sarah can slip John a valium before the next debate.  I cringe with every utterance of "My Friends"!

Love the tag line.

I'm not sure it matters...

What McCain/Palin say at this point :( It's like they got to pick sides in a schoolyard for networks. Obama picked first... MSNBC. McCain picks FOX second. Obama gets the next 50 picks...

No Faith In Polls

BigSpoon65

If you actually believed these polls you might feel that way.  Myself, I don't think these media driven polls are even close to the truth.  As Rush Limbaugh has said, "If Obama isn't up by double digits going into election night he is toast"!  If I can recall I saw a few samples of this in the primaries between Hillary and Obama.  Big leads by Obama in the state polls up to the primary and a Hillary blowout on the other end.  No way to explain that other than the polls tend to reflect the liberal medias wet dream instead of reality.  My recommendations to any libs who read this is be sure to have a good bottle of scotch handy on election night!

Conservative.....Because we can't all be on welfare!

BigSpoon65 - and POLLS !!!!

So true !!!!

Also keep in mind, Palin IS a rock star on her stump speeches/rallies, drawing huge crowds and packing arena.

And the near-70 Neilson ratings for the VP debate!

The media downplays Palin as "she's just a VP, so it's up to McCain still..." and we all know that's absolute b*llsh*t, as they know it, too.

She IS the wildcard that they do not want to touch... "She had her 15 minutes of fame". Don't believe that for one minute!

There are so many unprecidented factors in this race, people, so keep that in mind. The old-media is attempting the usual spin as November nears.

NOW PLAYING:
Governor Palin Get Your Gun

McCain was not my first, or

McCain was not my first, or even second choice in the primaries. Palin would not have been my first choice as VP selection.

I am an idiot.

After watching both of them on Hannity and Sarah on Gretta this evening, I now realize that we have a class act.

If Obammy is not ahead by at least 12 points by election day he will lose. Like it or not, there are that many people in this country who will not, I repeat will not vote for a marxist/idiot slate regardless of who he doesn't look like on our currency and, did I mention he isn't white?

That is why ACORN is so busy, busy, busy!

BigSpoon65

Like busy little bees they are working feverishly creating as many of these fraudulent votes as they can.  I believe this is what democrats call their ground game.  Easily 60% of this country fall into the "gun toting bitter clinger" category.  Liberals know this which is why they must cheat to win.  Felons, homeless people, dead people, fictitious people, duplicate voters, and the entire welfare class looking for more handouts, this is their voting block.  You better believe that they know it might not be enough!  They need to cook the polls so heavily in their favor that it discourages conservatives from going to the polls.  They are trying to create the illusion of hopelessness for the right.  Sorry, but only death itself will keep me from casting my ballot.  We bitter clingers go to those polls as faithfully as we go to our churches and we don't need to be paid off or bribed with cartons of cigarettes.  We consider it our patriotic duty.  Better keep those bees busy, you are gonna need every one of those fraudulent votes just to keep it close!

Conservative.....Because we can't all be on welfare!

Race matters not

Who Cares About Race!

I dont, and according to the leftist focus groups I am supposed to.

Race/Ethnicity has nothing to do with who is overspending, who is making out like bandits with the people's money, who will confiscate our property and businesses.

I don't care what our president looks like, whether he looks like me, or even whther he is somehow attractive.

If I want to see attractive Latinos I can watch Mexican Soap Operas wherein the woman are almost painfully beautiful and every guy looks like a young verison of Antonio Banderas.

I don't care if our president is a midget or 500 pound circus freak so long as that person stands for true conservative values.

The fact of course that we do have a rock star typel in Sarah Palin works in our favor, but I agree with feminist Camille Paglia. (That doens't happen often!) She is more of an Amazon Warrior than a beauty queen.

To Offend Or Not to Offend, That is The Question!

Even after the debate, McCain continues to disappoint.

When Hannity asked him why he didn’t mention Obama’s Ayres, Rezco, and Acorn connections during the debate, he said that he would "let the American people make that judgment".

Senator McCain, you are the American people and to me it shows a lack of judgment and, especially, leadership on your part as you continue to “reach across the isle” in the debates not to offend.

As Governor Palin said in the interview "Obama’s judgment needs to be questioned". But, as yet, I’ve seen no questioning on McCain’s part.

Right now, the Republican base is fuming.
