Would that this were true today - far from it!  Today all of the presstitutes, all of the talking-vacant-heads in broadcast media and all of their brainwashed fans think of nothing other than how to lie about Republicans - 24x7.

Even Fox News seems incapable of doing anything other than repeating ad nauseam the leftist talking points spouted by their less-than-competitive counterparts – never once taking them to the woodshed and deconstructing their blither for what it is.

Will that cause the public to bring on another 'Dewey' moment in American politics?  It certainly should - but with the rampant ignorance across this nation today, I wonder if it is at all possible.

predicts an Obama win, only missing something the messiah actually loss.

 

Obama: "No, if we're going to ask questions about who is promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily"

I was reading the comments section on some WaPo article earlier today when I came across this doozy. It really demonstrates how far gone, not to mention how dangerous, the far left really is:

The Newspaper, Chicago Daily Tribune, dropped the political party affiliation. The headline should have read...

"Dewey (R) defeats Truman (D)"...

Gosh, if history repeats itself the headline would read...

"McCain (R) defeats Obama (D)" ...let's hope not!!!
