I like the new graphics,
September 16, 2008 - 05:43 ET by LighthouseJI like the new graphics, good choices.
However, my video seems to stop playing immediately after the Pamela Anderson joke. I cannot read the time elapsed because it's too small. Once enough playtime occurs to reach the end, the video will jump to the end and show the "Replay" clickable icon.

Same here - the player
September 16, 2008 - 05:53 ET by HermanoSame here - the player continues, but nothing else from the video - great joke, though.

September 16, 2008 - 06:05 ET by Indiana JoeSame thing.
Pamela Anderson... don't get me started.

The new graphics are great
September 16, 2008 - 09:06 ET by Dee Bunkthey give it a higher quality look. The jokes were great also the whole thing worked for me - I watched on youtube don't know if that's the difference.
Others should give it a try on youtube. People should give it a try - there's a good one after the Pamela Anderson one about silly youtubers.
fundamentally just a polish
September 16, 2008 - 11:10 ET by TruthMongerfundamentally just a polish really - but good stuff
new graphics are better - more newsy
the flying MRC logo is a jolt - not a big deal - but if its a must I suggest the very, very beginning - very first thing seen...
laugh track still bugs me but ya gotta have it...
again you've probably already mulled this over but I'm curious about cutting to some video clips - i.e. yesterday Obama inadvertantly claimed he was much better at attack ads than McCain, or Biden's recent pajama party comments - Jodie could easily tee these up...
just one clip per episode is fine to start - the big finish - possibly even give it a segment name...
technically this should be fairly easy - license a good clip, write the tee-up and follow-up comments for Jodie...
during the shoot Jodie just does the lines as usual...
during post just insert the clip...
and presto-chango....collect your well-earned emmy:)

Hey Truth - good ideas.
September 16, 2008 - 20:47 ET by HermanoHey Truth - good ideas. just one clip per episode is fine to start - the big finish - possibly even give it a segment name... and the flying MRC logo is a jolt - not a big deal - but if its a must I suggest the very, very beginning - very first thing seen... I think both these will give it a little more professionalism.

Looks great!
September 16, 2008 - 09:22 ET by MeanderingI like the new graphics. I have to agree with everyone else, the video "pauses" (though time keeps going) after the Pam Anderson joke. Keep it up!
NewsBusted fixed
September 16, 2008 - 09:49 ET by Matthew SheffieldThat one was weird. I had the problem once but then didn't on a few other times. Then it came back.
I decided to just put a new one in. Let me know if it works for you guys.
Seems to be fine now.
September 16, 2008 - 09:56 ET by motherbeltSeems to be fine now. Thanks!
Love it!
September 16, 2008 - 10:50 ET by Secret ConservativeI love NewsBusted, love the new graphics and always look forward to the latest edition. You are doing a great job. NewsBusted is what got me to your site in the first place, and it's now one of my favorite sites.
I didn't have any problem with the video, and replayed it to hear the Pam Anderson joke again!
Congrats on the new season.
September 16, 2008 - 11:05 ET by Hero SquadCongrats on the new season. But I think adding Cousin Oliver to the cast is a huge mistake.

The Pamela joke was worth the wait.

Good change
September 16, 2008 - 16:32 ET by KhyrisI like the new graphics... I still think it could only help to make the PIP boxes animated video. Also, the opening intro has applause in it waaaay too early. Yes I realize that's the unchanged soundtrack, but before it coincided with images of an audience. Now it just seems awkward. At least delay the applause until the cross-fade.
I finally got here to
September 17, 2008 - 18:18 ET by bigtimerI finally got here to comment and see the video...I love the new graphics...I loved the first two jokes...although after the Pamela Anderson slam I don't remeber what they were!
Btw...If anyone remembers, I put the Pammy Baby video here last week with her wondrous words towards Palin.
