Bolton Tells NewsBusters 'Palin Coverage Has Been Vile'

ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Former United Nations ambassador John Bolton came down strongly Wednesday on how the press have treated Sarah Palin since she was announced as John McCain's running mate last Friday:

I think some of the coverage of Governor Palin has been vile. Period.

Talking to NewsBusters at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, Bolton said (video embedded right):

I don't understand the media's focus. I think they're not being fair in in how they look at what she's done as governor of Alaska, and her entire executive branch career in terms of especially being the chairman of the Alaska Oil and Natural Gas Conservation Commission.

Well. Look at that. Palin does have more foreign policy experience - national security issues, etc., than Jr. Sen. I don't hold committee hearings Obama.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Former U.N. ambassador John Bolton says Sen. Barack Obama's criticism of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's lack of foreign policy experience could backfire, insisting the presumptive vice-presidential nominee's executive experience would serve her well in the White House.

"I don't understand why the Obama campaign would want to make that an issue, which to me just calls attention to his own lack of experience in foreign policy," Bolton told WND at the Republican National Convention.

EXACTLY! Even some of those on FOX News are letting people get away with saying that the argument against Lord Obama's (Presidential nominee) lack of experience is null and void because of Palin's (Vice-Presidential nominee) supposed lack of experience - that goon on Brit's show made that assertion tonight in fact.
