Meet my hand puppet...

Keith: "Mr. Hand say hello to Steny..."

Mr. Hand: (high pitched scratchy voice)"Hi Steny!"

(Rep. Hoyer breaks out laughing at Keith, but then stops thinking where that hand may have been....)

Keith hasn't been the same since Sarah Palin was tapped by McCain today. Suicide watch?

Drill ANWAR

Keith Olbermann is a National Hero

Keith Olbermann is an American phenomenon like Barack Obama. Keith always looks out for the average guy. He is a bulwark against the
right wing lunatic fringe. Nobody guts the Republicans like he does and
that's why I love him so much. He is a breath of fresh air in the
usually corrupt U.S. media which has enabled this disastrous Bush Regime. He stands up for truth and justice and defends our civil
liberties. He is a treasure to American journalism and the only reason
why I still watch cable news. He outclasses Billo, Sean Hannibal, Rush Limpdick and all the other talking heads
on t.v. and talk radio several times over. There is no other that compare to America's hero Keith. The guy is simply phenomenal.

KEITH OLBERMANN RULES!!!

  "KEITH OLBERMANN

"KEITH OLBERMANN RULES!!!"

You left off the 'D' in front of 'RULES!!!'

And it's 2 'oo's', not 'u'

Just lettin' ya know...

"Nuke 'em 'til they... oh hell, just shoot 'em!"

LOL. That's funny stuff, I

LOL. That's funny stuff, I don't care who ya are.

I have

Gremlins in my head. When they start talking like this.......I just do what they tell me to do.

I'm just a victim here, don't you feel sorry for me?

Someday this line is gonna get a laugh from somebody!

Missed it by " much!    -------------  Hahahahaha!

KO: "Steny, before we begin,

KO: "Steny, before we begin, let me just ask again... "Is there anyone else's a$$ (lifts hand) I can kiss at the DNC? I'm here to help you. Help me, help you. Help me.......help you."

Really, it's only this

Really, it's only this big... Why do think women feel safe around me, I mean... it's pathetic!!!

Thanks for the Laugh

Ok Eileen, that made water come out my nose I was laughing so hard.  Thanks for the laugh

Heck...I was hoping we

Heck...I was hoping we would have something with Palin/McCain today...

I am so sick of Olbie...

I have a hand gesture just for him...

Sorry...just had to rant...

Today has been such a good day...then we see his face again...at least it wasn't the Chosen One.

I have a hand gesture just

I have a hand gesture just for him...

I'll bet you're telling him he's Number One with you, right? LOL

I'm with you though, I'm sick of him too. The only one I'm more sick of is Matthews. And Eileen stole my caption! GRRRRR!!

"Steny,  watch me  throw

"Steny,  watch me  throw darts at O'Reilly. Watch,  here goes............Ooooooooh, sorry Mr. Carville!"

The idea that Keith

The idea that Keith Olbermann would acuse any other human being on this planet of being too talky is itself too funny for words.

Keith Olberman demonstrates the proper technique for making shadow puppets on the wall to Rep. Steny Hoyer.

When you put the clowns in charge, don't be surprised when a circus breaks out.

Keep on topic

PT, you're entitled to state your opinion, even though you have done so obsessively all day, but please at least stick to relevant threads.

When you put the clowns in charge, don't be surprised when a circus breaks out.

Please shove it up your ass

That is what I think Olbermann is saying and why he is laughing.

Mayor Palin

Leadership is leadership.

Where was Obama mayor?

Has he been governor of any of the 57 states he's visited?

LesserOf2evils '08

Good One! Too bad you cannot use this argument anymore!

Thanks to idiot McCain you just destroyed the most compelling argument about Obama - Experience.

Mayors of large cities have more executive experience than Palin.

Partially correct. Palin is

Partially correct. Palin is not running for President, and though she COULD be president if anything happened to McCain....Obama is president from the day of his ticket winning, no question about it, if his ticket wins. Palin becoming president is a hypothetical. BUT, I understand exactly what you're saying, I just don't believe it's quite the equal that Obama's "lack of" is.

Because of the difference.....Obama as Pres candidate, Palin as VP candidate, the Obama campaign will have to walk on eggshells if they attempt to use experience as an issue, because of what I've said above, and that he has had that against him since day one. I don't know that he really would want to open that door unless they did it EXTRA cautiously, and I don't think in this day and age of the soundbite that it's possible to be cautious enough.

....but, with the media on his side, it may not be quite as touchy as it could, or should be and maybe they can allow him to get away with it amongst the American sheeple.

Not so, she has more

Not so, she has more experience than Obama.

Most Governors and large city mayors have more experience

Most Governors and large city mayors have more experience than her.

You could get any Mayor and say they have more executive experience than Obama.

hence its a rope a dope,

hence its a rope a dope, Obama can't be too critical of her experience, because it exposes how vacant he is.

And in either case this whole notion that the President or any office needs to come from someone with "experience" is bs.  McCain has more experience than them all, yet I will much rather have Palin be the nominee, and would question her judgement if she picked McCain as a running mate.

You really didn't just say that did you? Hypocrites!!!

"And in either case this whole notion that the President or any office needs to come from someone with "experience" is bs."

HYPOCRITES!!!!

popTart

where did CV contradict himself that you would say hypocrite?

"You can not support the Troops if you do not support their Mission"

DumbBot

Figure it out

popTart

where did CV contradict himself that you would say hypocrite?

"You can not support the Troops if you do not support their Mission"

Not sure what is

Not sure what is hypocritical in what you've highlighted from CV. Could you explain?

And I'm being sincere, not sarcastic or confrontational. I want civil discussion on this, so please don't reply as if a "gotcha" is what I'm looking for. It's not. I simply don't see "hypocritical" in what you're pointing to.

I could have simply asked the one question, but sadly, with the tone of the discussion on this topic, I've had to type 5 times as much to hopefully ensure that my question is perceived properly. Good grief.

The President does not need to have experience

The argument used against Obama ever since he started to run.

I know that arguement, as

I know that arguement, as does everyone, but you were referring to a distinct statement that CV made. If you know that CV has voiced the experience problem with Obama, then you have a point, but if you're calling him/her hypocrite over a statement that he/she may actually have always believed, then that's not hypocritical. You're on this forum more than I am so maybe you've seen CV saying things against experience and are now seeing "experience is BS." If that's the case, your comment makes sense, but if that's not the case, I don't understand why you'd use the term "hypocrite" to describe CV's statement. But again, you may or may not know something about CV's past arguements that I simply don't know.

"You could get any Mayor

"You could get any Mayor and say they have more executive experience than Obama. "

Yes, and it would be  a *TRUE* statement!

Way over your head

I will leave this to those who get it.

We all "get" it. The

We all "get" it.

The person the Republicans have nominated for the SECOND spot  has "lite" experience.

The person the Democrats have nominated for the FIRST spot has "lite" experience.

Besides party names, do you see the other difference in the above two sentences?

Sarah Palin - This is what a Conservative looks like !

PT's highlighted portion,

What you said is well taken and an understood view, but PT's highlighted portion of CV's post, and subsequent "Hypocrite" description of it, was.....

And in either case this whole notion that the President or any office needs to come from someone with "experience" is bs."

I personally don't understand the connection of that statement with "hypocrite," in the context of CV's post, but I have a post (scroll up a bit) asking PT for clarification of his viewpoint.

Obviously you don't

She is next in line to be President with a man who hit 72 and doesn't look in good shape.

Except that (if elected)

Except that (if elected) Obama will BE THE PRESIDENT.

You're making a specious arguement.

Sarah Palin - This is what a Conservative looks like !

Regarding the age issue, I

Regarding the age issue, I personally would truly love to see McCain, at convention, announce that he is only seeking a one-term presidency, and is not running in 2012. No upcoming election to look forward to, so a 4 year presidency, not a 2.5 year presidency and a 1.5 year campaign for the 2nd term and all the pandering that comes along with it.

My Argument has absolutely no merit - of course...

What the hell am I talking about, crazy me for bringing it up.

PopularTroll

Wrong. It's Obama versus McCain. So, the experience issue is STILL a legitimate issue because Obama would assume the roll of President day one. Palin would not.

Have you been sniffing glue lately or what?

PALIN/McCain 2008

Sergeant Doofus

Wrong Palin for VP Cheerleader!

Have you voted with your pants today?

Sergeant Doofus Repeats Himself

Dean is more qualified than Palin:

- B.A. Political Science, M.D.

- Lieutenant Governor of Vermont (1987-91)

- Governor of Vermont (1991-2003)

Troll

Umm.. yeah.. I checked again and Dean still isn't on the democRATic ticket. Go ahead and write him in if you want.

Now, beat your head against the wall and go EEEE-YARRRGGGHHH!!

PALIN/McCain 2008

Sergeant Doofus Does it Again!

You brought up Dean, Doofus.

So what Pop tech?

Are you saying that small town and middle Americans can't run the country?  That is petty and elitist if you ask me.  Plus the population was just over 9000.

But what do I know? I am bitter and cling to my religion and guns.

Hell yes a small town mayor cannot run the U.S.!

Are you saying a small town mayor can run the U.S. with a B.A. in Journalism?

More like the population is actually 6000.

I would trust a god fearing

I would trust a god fearing conservative small town mayor to any current federal politician.  I would take a college drop out gof fearing conservative small town mayor to any well educated politician / lawyer any day.

Theocratic Ruler

I am happy you put your religion before the country.

God, family, country, golf.

God, family, country, golf. In that order.

“it is not the role of this Court to pronounce the Second Amendment extinct.” - Justice Antonin Scalia

This is sad

was that a slam?  Just

was that a slam?  Just because I said God Fearing, doesn't mean I am looking for a Huckabee ( gag ).  It simply means someone who is a humble down to earth who understands that there are things bigger than themselves.

And if it came down to it, yes I do put God before my country.  In the mean time I will pray that God will Bless America.

No contest Tech

Better than a full time lawyer and career politician...you bet your sweet ass I do.  I would rather have her leading this country anytime over the other two clowns on the dem ticket any day!!!!

She took on a corupt Rep Gov and his machine and cleaned it up while Obama embraces an unrepentant terrorist and a sat in a pew of a chuch that hates america.  Hands frigging down on the small town mayor!!!!

But what do I know? I am bitter and cling to my religion and guns.

Funny someone actually got me to post something positive about Howard Dean - this is sad!

EEEEE-YAAAAWWWW!

EEEE-YAAAAAAWWWW!!!

Btw.. Dean isn't on the ticket.

PALIN/McCain 2008

No Biden is on the Ticket

Senator, United States Senator, 1973-present

Wrong, degrees don't make

Wrong, degrees don't make him more qualified to be President...if anything it makes him less qualified because despite all that "experience" Kerry of all people beat him.

John Kerry was Educated!

BA, Political Science, Yale University, 1966.

JD, Boston College Law School, 1976

It doesn't change the fact that Dean is more qualified than Palin.

A degree doesn't make

A degree doesn't make someone more qualified...I don't care how many degrees Dean has over Palin...she is more qualified.

B.A. in Journalism is all the education you need to be V.P.!

Of course you would dangerously put the country in the hands of this unqualified Hillary supporter pander.

Sorry pop

You bet Pop, her education is the exact reasonI like her on the ticket...Good lord man she has something better than an education that qualifies her (and this is just not going to make sense to you I know).  Common sense!!!  Try it brother, it trumps just plain intelligence everytime.

But what do I know? I am bitter and cling to my religion and guns.

Education doesn't matter - say that when you apply for a job

I am sure they will hire you because you were a Beauty Queen and a  PTA Member.

Rush Limbaugh has how many

Rush Limbaugh has how many degrees?

Rush is a College Dropout so is Hannity

And? Palin has a B.A. in Journalism.

you are the one who was

you are the one who was asserting that you needed to have a degree to get a great job.  I was proving you wrong.

Olbermann: Steny, this is

Olbermann: Steny, this is how much I like Republicans ok? But I'm probably going to Minnesota next week to act objective.

Moyer: HEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHHAAHEHEHEHEH, that's great buttmuch, give me a call when you arrive.

The implosion of MSNBC started in April of 2007

This has been coming for a long time. The quote from Obama himself  "I would not have someone like Imus working for me" But he has Ludacris on his I Pod and he wouldn't disown his mentor the Rite Rev Jeremiah Wright....yeah that's what they call nuance...Obama is full of it.

How much money did CBS radio and MSNBC lose firing Imus? caving into race baiters has a price. Recently CBS had to sell off 50 radio stations. The calculation of lost revenue for NBCU ??? they had to consolidate, which is fancy talk for layoffs- people lost their jobs. The rest of them had to move to 30 rock. Imus got an undisclosed settlement from CBS, and the loss of ratings for both CBS and NBC, cost them $$$ in advertizing dollars.

Somebodys chickens are coming home to roost. Oh Imus, he is on more radio stations now then before he was fired, and simulcast on RFD TV which just picked up carriage on Verizon in NYC.

Keith: Now I have another gesture for ya, buddy!

Thank you for helping to

Thank you for helping to highlight the media bias.

I don't recall MSDNC ever making fun of Clinton for smoking weed.

Exactly.  MSDNC's bias

Exactly.  MSDNC's bias exposed.  Or at least Olberdolt's.

Hey, Pop!

Yawwwwwn ...

Move on, Poppy boy

You do not get extra credit for posting the same things over and over.

I used to respect you when you were the 'go to' guy for global warming debunking.

But now, I think you're a nut!

A Nut if you don't break out the Pom Poms?

So since I did not join the fanboys I am a nut? Interesting. Welcome to the collective.

Sad, very sad

Not taking your bait.

Sorry.

Maybe you should get a warning for calling me a name

I hear that you should get a warning for that.

"I know, hard to believe

"I know, hard to believe Congressman, but my lurve muscle really is this small."

Vote 4 change. Vote 4 anything. See Jack & Mr Shy's first campaign ad for the ONLY viable 3rd party candidate.

Why the abrupt interruption??

I'm always suspicious when the person talking is cut off in mid sentence.

Nice try, Poppy boy!

Maybe Keith Smoked Pot like Palin?

Yawwwwn again!

You already posted that. Geez!
