it's NOT appropriate to COMPARE Republicans to the Klan, because Klan member ARE Rebuplicans. Former Grand Wizard David Duke ran for office as a Republican. Last year, Republican Congressman Ted Poe (Texas) quoted one of the original Klan Grand Wizards on the floor of the House. To name a few.

your comparison of the McCain advert to "those same liberals" is comparing apples to oranges-- if you're going to compare, compare a McCain advert to an Obama advert-- not some abstract generic category called "liberals".
