Both have options for what is allowed or disallowed by site. NoScript is pretty aggressive out of the box - It blocks a lot of the commenting features on many sites until adjusted.
A little time spent setting options speeds up many sites.You can support(allow) advertising site by site.
And make sure you're running 3.01
Otherwise, no problems with XP and Suse/Ubuntu boxes.

I am compiling data regarding a recent move by Sony's motion picture distribution company. It appears that they have sent out bills to movie theaters collecting monies for the free tickets the theaters have given their employees and military personnel for the past four years. One theater had to pony up $1,800 just for the employee (and guest) tickets. This move was unexpected. Then, two weeks later they were sent a bill for the service men and women tickets. That particular action is what has me ticked off. It seems a bit cold hearted of Sony to want to profit from our service people in this way. Most American businesses have enough patriotism to offer our heroes a break.
If you know of anyone who works at a theater could you please ask them if they know of any bills sent from Sony regarding the collection for past free tickets?

The light show and video stuff was cool and Neil gave a great solo but there was way too much new stuff and not enough old. We don't like the new album and wish Rush would go back to their old sound. When they came again this summer, we sat it out.
I love the Farewell to Kings and Hemispheres sound. Anyway, have fun!

The show last summer was awesome specifically because as much as they played their new stuff (not enough, as far as I am concerned - one or two more songs from Vapor Trails or Counterparts would have been perfect!), they were playing old songs I never dreamed I would see live. When they broke out "Digital Man" as the SECOND song, I knew I was in for a hell of a ride. And I was right!
I just wish they hadn't played "Ghost of a Chance" in Vancouver. Recent troubles with women, one in particular...(sigh)
As stated below...Snakes and Arrows is STILL way better than 99% of what passes for rock these days! In the meantime, I can't wait to catch these guys (and gal) when they hit TX early in the fall...

But not nearly as obnoxious as the clowns at media matters. I would think the people in charge of these stations are now immune to organized liberal hissy fits by now. One protestor was quoted as saying "This is a trend in talk radio to attack autism". That’s not a direct quote but from memory. So that should set off the alarm bells that this really isn’t about autism at all but another Media Matters smear of all talk radio. I don't think I've ever heard any mention of autism on radio. Of course the attack was not on autism but on the misdiagnosis of it and other illnesses.

His mother-in-law lives in Delray. In a 55 and over community. Where children are only allowed to stay for two months a year.
Yet the "honorable" Rob Wexler lists this as his home of record, while his children are all enrolled in school in....you guessed it....Maryland.
So, he's representing a Florida district, chairing a presidential candidate's campaign for Florida, while not being a resident of the great state of Florida?
