just like the other democrat senator being handfed as he sits in his depends in the nursing home.

We've known that, but why are they just now treating it?

Although Teddy is one of the scummiest douchebags on the planet, I do not wish him to die.

This situation does actually raise important questions:

1. If he is in very bad health, you know damn well, as long as Teddy can breathe with the aid of a machine, he will remain in office.

2. This actually hurts McCain. And those of you who think McCain is too old, this is even worse news for all the Ronulans out there. Of course, I am joking, since Ron Paul could be 100 years old and the Ben Franklin-dressing mental midgets with RP stickers on their '98 Lancers would still be drooling more than Paul does. 

3. This is a good opportunity for those of us on the Conservative side of the aisle to take the high road and not turn into Hufftards.

Maybe this is a sign you should retire.  Of course that may mean any future waitress sandwiches with Sen. Dodd would have to be openface.

His politics are offensive, to say the least, but I wish him a good recovery and good health.

As much as I despise this man and the damage he has caused to so many individuals and families of America I wouldn't wish this on anyone.  Prayers for Ted and his loved ones. 

That said, unlike the morons and minions of the Left who've wished death and plague (and worse) on various and sundry of their opponents, I wish no such catastrophe on Teddy.

I hope he fully recovers.

I have a hard time trying to act concerned for a man who would let a young woman drown and use politics to cover it up.

Then says the absurd things he does about our brave men and women in uniform unless it serves his agenda to support them.

He has that smugness that he got away with Murder, or negligent manslaughter at the very least... I don't think he really got away with anything... 

God doesn't always pay on Friday, but payday is always coming!

Don't think about his politics or his past right now - think of his kids and family who are having to live in a hospital until he gets well enough to leave.

God we pray Your will be done. If it's not his time to go, then help him recover and maybe draw a bit closer to You. 

My parents always told me not to speak wrong of the ill /sick. Ted has lived a long time and as a King his whole life. I hope I make it to 76 or more.

I remember a financial book writer on O'Reilly a year or so back, who was investigating Ted's money holdings - net worth. The guy came up with a figure of 500 Mil in an off shore bank account to keep Uncle Sammy from collecting his taxes. At that moment, I remembered cruising just off shore of Martha's Vineyard on naval warships, looking through binoculars, at all the big mansions and imagining how the rich people were living large.

When I was stationed in Japan and taking college courses, the same time all the JFK movies were coming out in the early 1990's. The college teachers / professors that taught the courses, really loved the Kennedy family. I had to read many books in order to pass the courses that I had signed up for. Some books were probably true, others conspiracy theories. I was glad to have passed all the classes considering, I was in disagreement most of the time with their portrayal / love affair of the Kennedy Legacy.

I will not trash Ted Kennedy like the left did Charleston Heston. Although it does remind me of the Heston movie Will Penny, that scene, ole claude was a mighty good man all the way around. That's always the way it is, let a man die, and right away, he's good ole claude. How was he before he bucked out?

This is all I will say since Ted is probably knocking on death's door. God only knows, Ted could live to be 106.

By no means am I making fun of anyone with a weight problem. As a Native American I realize what people with weight problems have to deal with. My mother struggled with her weight all her life, she died at 45. My father had his battle with the bottle. He never touched a drop of liquor until he was 27 years old, started in Vietnam, he died of alcohol poisoning at age 57. I don't suffer from weight or alcohol problems, although my doctor rips me for being 30 lbs over weight for my size frame. Dr. says no salt intake and I to have to eat salad / rabbit food all the time, due to my high blood pressure and DOT regs for truck driving.

I just don't feel apathy / empathy for the likes of rich people like Ted or Oprah, they have the best doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, personal staff, butlers, chauffeurs, fitness Phds, etc.etc......

Remember John Jr. lost at sea. Many govt. and private organizations, Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, civilians, all were searching for the plane. Do I feel sorry that he lost his life?, yes, anyone with a heart would. Fly for fun, sure, get the proper training. John Jr. should have had a private pilot until then, he had no business flying at night. Some typical poor Joe Turkey, the authorities might have sent one small search craft for a day or two. Definitely not the 1000's of people searching that he had. If that were you or I, we would have been fish food for sure.
