Schneider: white men voted their race
April 22, 2008 - 20:24 ET by Matthew Sheffield8:17 or so ET on CNN, Bill Schneider implied that white males voting in the Penn. Democratic primary "voted their race" by slightly favoring Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama.
He declined to use any such phrasing when describing the much more polarized voting of black voters and white women.

Steve Carell plas Maxwell.
Anne Hathaway plays 99.
Alan Arkin plays Chief.
and Terence Stamp plays Siegfried. You gotta have Siegfried in the movie! Terence who? why, General Zod, of course!
Bernie Kopell does cameo, too.
The downside? The Rock is in it.

Half of the Black vote will not vote for Half a Black man.
Delayed Why?
April 22, 2008 - 20:42 ET by CGatton"Too close to call," is an euphuism for which of the following:
1. Once again, exit poll responders are afraid to say they didn't vote for Obama
2. Only Obama supporters are stopping to answer the exit polls
3. Both of the above
It will be easy to tell whether these factors are involved, since the final result will be Hillary by five or more points. Any result closer than that would truly be within the margin of error, and would be "too close to call."
So, how long before the numbers finally convince the networks that the exit polls are once again, worthless. One hour...two hours...?

Who Ya Gonna Trust?!
April 22, 2008 - 20:52 ET by CGattonLOL, so I see. Well, I'm willing to bet no one will trust exit polls for a long, long time, and depending on the final margin, the regular polls will lose major credibility.

April 22, 2008 - 22:41 ET by needleWasn’t the MSM a couple of days ago putting it about that Obama was pulling ahead in PA?
So, here is the question: Was the MSM's information way off, or were they distorting the information they had at hand in order to influence the Public?
Impunitas semper ad deteriora invitat.
Needle The MSM is half right, about a Half White Candidate
April 22, 2008 - 23:56 ET by JayTeeThe MSM is conflicted, We need an all Black Candidate with a record of accomplishments, as even the MSM in it's weakened state cannot push upon Americans a Half assed Political solution to our full Blown Problems in America.
Obama grew up Half Christian, and Half Islamic, in a Half White / Half Black Family, Wearing his American Flag Pin half the time in the Senate. It's a wonder that the MSM can't get the Polls right Half the Time, when describing the Democratic half of the Election .
Even Bill is worried about his Better Half being a winner.
Meanwhile, Rush limbaugh is calling the shots, in an Election where Half the Republicans don't wanna vote for McCain.
And Ron Paul got 16% of the Vote, which wasn't half Bad for a non candidate.

Guess we'll see if he gets my quotes right.

Obama actually won Lancaster County last night.

Operation Chaos -- not one mention!!
April 23, 2008 - 11:53 ET by w0tmIn all the stories I read, not a single mention of Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" where Republicans change party affliation to Democrat the day before then back to Republican the day after. The clueless DNC proudly announced 160,000(!!!) Republicans had re-registered as Democrats in the last month. Normal number would have been under 10,000 changing either way. All to vote for Hillary so that the bickering continues into the convention. Now, will the same DNC announce 160,000 left the party today to return to the RNC? The big winner in this election was McCain. But not a word of it in any paper I saw. I'm sure Rush will devote all three hours of his program today to his stunning victory. Should be interesting to hear.
I saw a couple articles saying Operation Chaos didn't work
April 23, 2008 - 12:05 ET by Dee BunkThe exit polls showed that more Republicans who re-registered voted for Obama. Rush may have had an impact in getting people to vote and influence the Dem outcome but I think in the end the ones who dislike Hillary came out stronger. I think most Republicans are in denial about how far left Obama is.
