Hockey should be played in places when and where it is possible to be done outdoors. :)

With the GS Warriors out, I am going for the Phoenix Suns again this yr. Hopefullly Shaq and Steve Nash have had enough time to play with each other to get comfortable.

I also like the San Jose Sharks, but those pesky Flames are a nuisance:-)

Talk all you want, Wizards - you guys are all style and no substance - and BTW, plan on watching the rest of the NBA playoffs on TV after LeBron and Company eliminate you!

yes i will be cheering on the Celtics this year.  i had switched to the Clippers but their midnight move out of SD has earned them "almost as bad as the Fakers" status : )

for a friend i'm rooting for the STARS in the NHL

the NFL draft has too many variables with possible trades thrown in.  Here's a site with many, many mock drafts gathered together called 199overall.  The 199?, Tom Bradys pick, accentuates that you never know who really does well in the draft.

I was listening to one of the so called draft experts earlier today. He predicted that Felix Jones would go to the Cowboys as the 22nd pick. I am going out a limb and predict that when all is said and done Jones will be the better back coming out of Arkansas. McFadden is overhyped. He can't hold onto the ball. He is going to be as big a disappointment as Reggie Bush has been to the Saints or Ricky Williams was.  But the sad thing about it, McFadden will get the big bucks. Jones pockets will be much lighter.

NHL Play offs

My Wings won in OT last night. It shouldnt have gotten to that point. The Predators are holding there own against them. I am feeling much more confident now that we are starting Osgood. I hope someone hurts Tootoo...grr...i hate that douchebag.

 

 

 

Does anyone even care about hockey? Probably not...and thats how i like it.

The Detroit Red Wings

I'm not sure if you live in Michigan, but I cannot figure it out. The Wings have just won another Presidents trophy, yet they cannot sell out the Joe this year. Is it because of the economy? The Pistons sell out night after night. Is it only blue collar workers that go to Red Wing games?

As a Florida boy growing up before hockey showed up, I thought the only thing ice was good for was tea. During a stint in Cincinnati, I had a roommate who was a tremendous hockey fan. I started watching and decided I needed to get behind a team. I ultimately picked the Wings for the craziest of reasons - fans throwing octopi onto the ice. I am a little concerned with their current play. I hope they refind their form and escape the woes they went through in February. Go Wings.

WR, I think the original poster meant hockey should ONLY be played in cities where it gets cold enough to play outside.
