If those folks who commented on the story linked above are representative of what's going on, in the democrat(ic) party, if I was Obama, I'd be worried! It's clear that the readers don't much care for Obama, and have Algore and Carter's number too!

I'm sure within' the party elite, Algore and Carter are these mythical figures. But I have a feeling if they try and throw the girl out for the black guy, the "you know what" will hit the fan!

The democrat(ics) have played gender and race politics for decades, and now the cows have come home to roost. These people are so worked up over their candidate's sex and race that no matter who ends up as the democrat(ic) candidate, a large portion of the dem voters will stay home, or vote for McCain.

The democrat(ics) have a serious mess on their hands, and if they stop the process, before every state has voted, it won't be pretty. And I have a felling they will have to literally have to drag Clinton out of the race, to get her to give up the fight. I would be very surprised if she threw in the towel on her own.

This is very entertaining though. By all rights, the democrat(ics) should win this in a walk over. Not because of anything really bad, but because of the perception a lot of folks have because of our media. And yet, McCain is gonna win this thing, and depending on who he picks for his running mate (Mitt Romney) he's gonna win big!

Wackiest thing I've ever seen!

Carter - Failed president who should stick with helping the poor (a good thing), and give up the creepy boot licking of totalitarians around the world (especially the Islamo-fascist kind).

Gore - Wants all the electrical power in the world for himself.  Started his quest when the local power company told him it was having a hard time keeping up with the power draw of his Olympic swimming pool sized deep fat fryer.

They'll probably tell her she can join them as "elder statepersons"....they can go on tour as "The Three Yentas"....

That is a strange choice of party "elders". Hillary abhors Gore.  Carter is sanctimonious and  generally abhorent.

Hillary can count votes as well as anyone.  Howard Dean should think twice about sending in these "elders".

When are the MSM going to start challenging Barack Obama on his flip-flops and disingenuous statements?

Not only is he now saying he said something different in the "God and guns" controversy, but he has a couple of other discrepancies:

He is apparently beginning the backstroke on his pledge to use public financing. Sen. McCain has already called him out on this.

His ubiquitous PA campaign commercial says he doesn't "take money from oil companies." As FactCheck.org says, that much is true; he doesn't. But that's no virtue; no candidate does, because it's illegal.

However, look at their page and you will see how much he has received from people in the gas and oil industries.

On "60 Minutes" in February, Steve Kroft asked him if he would withdraw troops no matter what and he said:

“No, I always reserve as commander in chief the right to assess the situation."

However, in March, he said to a Caspar Wyoming crowd:

"I will bring this war to an end in 2009, so don't be confused."

Confused? You bet I'm confused! As we should all be.

It would be nice if we had some kind of faint hope that the media will ever question him on these things....

Oh, wait, they did on the "God and guns" thing, but blithely accepted his little "lecture" about "traditions"..apparently accepting his familiarity with the traditions of the "typical white person."

 I believe that just short of photos of Obama raping a kitten he will always get a free pass from this media. But, I've also come to the conclusion he will lose in the general election. He'll win the demos nomination, but lose in the general. He is too dividing.

For someone who states that he wants to bring the country together,he is tearing it apart more than anyone else is. Even with the clamp down by the media on the ridiculous crap he spouts, it still leaks out. It may be a few days later but it does get out. And it ticks folks off. Real Americans don't want socialism in the end. That's what it will boil down to. I'd tell McCain to capitalize on this, but he won't.

Uh-Bama can play the race card all he wants, but what should be going through his head is 12%. 12% of the population, and not all of that will vote for him. Woman, he'll alienate just enough liberal women to not vote for him, if they vote at all. College kids, they'll not show up in November, they never do, ask John Kerry , Al Gore, et al. Senior citizens, now they DO vote, but they'll not vote for Uh-Bama, too young, not enough experience, hates the military. He'll get a lot of the old union folks and retired teachers and such, the one's who filled the heads of so many kids with commie junk etc. But that's not enough. Then there's the libs that do not like him because of what happened to the Hildabeast, which is estimated at 28% of her base.

So all McCain has to do is hammer him at all of his weakest points, which other than giving mind stunningly boring speeches, is everything else. Uh-bama is a socialist, apparently he doesn't mind that title, but Americans DO, so hammer him on that. It's McCains to lose.

carried a government-issued "most wanted" posting on its Yahoo China
homepage, urging viewers to provide information on Tibetan activists
suspected of stirring recent riots.

Alibaba, which took over Yahoo's China operation in 2005 as part of a
billion-dollar deal with the U.S.-based search engine, arranged for the
former president to speak to a conference of Internet executives in
Hangzhou in September 2005. Instead of taking his standard speaking
fees, which have ranged from $100,000 to $400,000, Clinton accepted an
unspecified private donation from Alibaba to his international charity,
the William J. Clinton Foundation.

The former president's charity has raised more than $500 million over
the last decade and has been lauded for its roles in disaster response,
AIDS prevention and Third World medical and poverty relief. But his
reliance on influential foreign donors and his foundation's refusal to
release its list of donors have led to repeated questions about the
sources and transparency of his fundraising -- even as Hillary Clinton
has talked on the campaign trail about relying on him as a roving
international ambassador if she is elected president.

Foreign contributions to American-based charities are allowed under
U.S. law, but political and philanthropy ethics advocates worry that
Bill Clinton's reliance on international businesses and foreign
governments to finance his worldwide charity campaigns raise issues of
potential conflicts of interest if he were to take an active role in
his wife's administration.

"This is a perfect example of why it's critical for both Clintons to
provide prompt and complete disclosure of all their sources of income,
not just personal sources but also his foundation," said Sheila
Krumholz, executive director for the nonpartisan Center for Responsive
Politics, a government reform advocacy group.

The Clinton foundation and the former president's library in Little
Rock have received millions of dollars in donations from the Saudi
royal family and the Middle East sheikdoms of the United Arab Emirates,

I am so looking forward to Rush being back tomorrow, so much has happened to add (or detract if you factor in Bill Clinton his bringing up the lying about the sniper fire) to his Operation Chaos it is going to be delicious listening to his take on the Obama suicide in SF....heheee

By the way I am going to attempt to watch the Compassion Debate tonight on CNN with Hill and the O Man...I found it sad myself that McCain declined to be present, but then again I was disappointed that McCain went via his spokesman on his remarks about Obama and his anti-SF speech.

lot of people in this dumbed-down country that will buy that. They want
