UCLA
March 30, 2008 - 15:15 ET by scamoramaAt the beginning of the season I picked a Final Four. As I write, 2 of them are in it -- UNC & UCLA (the others were Kansas and Georgetown).
I had those two pencilled in for the title game. I still think UCLA will take it.
If those two meet, the difference in the game won't be Hansbrough or Love, but Mbah a Moute. He does so many of the so-called "little things" on the court, and he never slows down. If he's healthy, UNC has no one who can stay with him.
UCLA 75; UNC 70
Mbah a Moute?
March 30, 2008 - 15:23 ET by candanceThe Heels have no answer for Mbah a Moute? Have you seen Danny Green? Alex Stepheson? Wayne Ellington?
The Heels are a lot more than just Hansbrough.
Busy
March 30, 2008 - 15:44 ET by scamoramaYes, I'm familiar with them, I just think they'll have their hands full with Collison, Love, Westbrook , and Shipp.
Please don't think I'm disparaging UNC. I'm a big fan of ACC basketball (have been since the early 60's), and this year's Tarheels rank among the best ever. Against anyone else, I'd pick UNC in a walk.
However,
These two are the best defensive teams in college this year. It's going to be a war of attrition, and UCLA has a deep bench. Keefe and Aboya can do real damage.

Tyler Hansbrough
March 29, 2008 - 23:18 ET by Noel SheppardNBers,
Is Tyler Hansbrough amazing or what? Who's the last college BB player to be able to single-handedly take control of a game like this guy?
Wow, I'm impressed! Every time I see this kid, he amazes me more!
Congrats, Heels. You guys are the best! ns
oh noooo, the tv actors are going on strike now, let em starve
March 30, 2008 - 05:21 ET by lunaticcringeradiosorry but i can't really give a crap about the liberal mouthpieces that reside in california. the number of good tv shows i can count on about 3 fingers and the rest of it is insulting to the intelligence.
i have a feeling that this will not bode well for liberal politicians. they wont get their smarmy anti conservative digs in that are woven into the dreck that drugs people senseless at 115v @ 60Hz. the liberal media is used to having their audience dumbed down and distracted by what they present as entertainment as they force feed the liberal agenda that is injected into tv programing everywhere. oh noooo maybe people will get bored and eventually start to listen to what's going on in politics, only to a degree because many are brainwashed and lost never to think again, but some might see that liberals aren't authentic as they are portrayed by their precious celebrities on the boob toob. this will force liberals to actually take sides and stands and when they do that the public will start to see the faults in their plans. oh i welcome hollywood actor and writer strikes, im still working and less people are being infected with the liberal agenda.
of course i'm conservative and according to the daily kos i'm incapable of any deep thought.
by the way that new america needs too lose movie stop loss is going in the crapper, hhhhmmmm any conservative writers, producers, and investors out there want to establish a new hollywood that promotes america instead of tears it down, this would be a good time.

Take that DeCoursey
March 30, 2008 - 08:29 ET by ricklailAll season long Mike DeCoursey of the Sporting News has not given the Heels a Chinaman's chance. This week's issue did not include them in the Final 4. Well I hope he has to eat crow. I think the Heels are going all the way to beat UCLA in the championship game.
I am torn between Davidson and Kansas. I want the Wildcats to do good, but I don't want the Heels to have to face them in the Final 4. They gave the Heels all they could handle in December. This tournament has give them experience and confidence.

UNC/Louisville
March 30, 2008 - 09:59 ET by candanceWhat's all this "go Louisville" business? Everyone was saying they'd beat UNC but the best they could do was tie it up for a few minutes. The Heels have been the definition of clutch all year and never had me worried.
Bring on whoever's next!!
candance
March 30, 2008 - 13:08 ET by botgi think they meant go Louisville (and take Davidson with ya)

Davidson hanging on
March 30, 2008 - 18:18 ET by candanceKU went into the half with a two point lead.
The Hawks just looked tired and out of focus the whole time. Davidson played a little tight but is known to explode in the second half.
This game will come down to whether Kansas can keep their poise or not. They'll remember how to play and find a way to shut down Curry (which is possible) or they'll go home.
