These endorsements are very nice ego strokes for the candidates, and I'm sure Ted Kennedy thinks the country has been waiting with bated breath to see who he would endorse. And the candidates can compare "points" to see who has the most. But does anyone think that these endorsements, whether from other politicians or from newspapers, really have any effect on the voters in general?

Bait is subtle tactics when the Clintons started this before Iowa. It is a racial meal when one ties all blacks out on the African plain and rings the dinner bell for simba to come and eat.

Democrats understand fully the problems of destroying the black foundation of the part, but Tedward Kennedy understands a much deeper lesson of 2 assassinated brothers and one assassinated nephew that one does not trump the people who have been staging the coup on Hillary Clinton.

Pelosi may be a dunce but Reid knows more about the ins and outs of twisting the Senate Rules into a pretzel to get his way than probably anyone since the past master LBJ.

This do nothing congress is a planned event.

The object is since they only held paper thin majorities is only pass the minimum of bills that were mandatory to operate and then throw up over the top stuff and allow zero compromise to ensure their defeat.

The outlandish bills were simply pure political pander to the base saying 'see we tried our best to get it done for all the things you wanted'.

The rest of the plan was repeated over and over on both the House and Senate floor during debates by many dems during their speeches.

Blame the obstructionist Republicans

Claim they needed veto proof majorities in both houses to pass the legislation that was 'good for America'.

Scream for a Dem in the White House to stop the veto 'maddness'.

That very plan was spoken over and over by many dems.

Also if you review the last debate for the Dems during the second half sit down session, Obama voiced the opinion supporting the same issue of needing veto proof majorities in both houses.

Reid supports it, Obama supports it and Ted endorses Obama.

Simple neat package and the do nothing congress was the shiny toy to use as a vehicle to enable the whole plan.
