Brent Bozell, President of the MRC which runs NewsBusters, appeared Monday night on FNC's Hannity & Colmes to discuss his new book published by Crown Forum, Whitewash: What the Media Won't Tell You About Hillary Clinton, But Conservatives Will. Sean Hannity called the book “timely,” hailed how he “loved” it and admired how it “weaves together a story about Hillary that the media won't tell.” Hannity and Alan Colmes also asked for Bozell's reaction to the low box office numbers for Robert Redford's anti-Iraq war movie, Lions for Lambs. Bozell suggested: “People don't want to go to a movie to see America's military trashed.”
Bozell is scheduled to appear Tuesday morning at about 7:40 AM EST on FNC's Fox & Friends and later in the day on CNBC's 7pm EST Kudlow & Company. He's also doing a lot of radio interviews over the next few days.

Uncovering a Fifteen Year Love Affair
How could America's presidential front-runner be a woman who has held only one elective office and had staggering numbers of personal, political, and financial scandals?Tuesday, November 13 is the official release date.
How did the First Lady to a disgraced, impeached president become a presidential front-runner despite never having held elective office before 2001? And how did this happen given her staggering number of personal, political, and financial scandals -- and her leftist political agenda?Authors L. Brent Bozell and Tim Graham peel back the layers of Hillary Clinton's success to expose the real shocker -- not Travelgate or Whitewater -- but a fifteen year love affair by the liberal media, starting with Time magazine, who first introduced Hillary Clinton to the country as an "amalgam of Betty Crocker, Mother Teresa and Oliver Wendell Holmes." The elite media's continued and unprecedented favoritism is the key to Hillary's mythic political standing. They have downplayed or ignored her every scandal and recast her ultra-liberalism as being in the political center.
What's even more stunning is the incredible number of stories that have been under-reported, excused and buried. To expose the truth, the authors interviewed dozens of leading conservatives who want Americans to hear the whole story, including Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Cal Thomas, Newt Gingrich and many others.

November 13, 2007 - 01:41 ET by CortillaenWhy not? You seem apt to non-debate from plenty of other senseless positions. Either way, it appears that you're trying to sidetrack discussion away from this book and, by extension, Hillary. That being the case, this is the last reply I'll indulge in on this chain.

This book is ill timed.
November 13, 2007 - 01:04 ET by jdhawkThis book is ill timed. It should be release 2-3 months before the election next November. This is the normal book tour time frame and would get maximum exposure at a crucial time.
Being published this early in the election cycle will give the liberals ample time to rebuke, rebut, revulse, and bury it.
Nevertheless, I applaud Bozell's efforts and look forward to reading or listening to it.

November 13, 2007 - 11:45 ET by Chris NormanNewt Gingrich was also on H & C last night. I'm getting a little annoyed with him and his smug suggestions of doom for the Republicans in 2008. I get the sense that he thinks he could do much better than anyone else. If he feels that way, he should have run and proven it. He's hardly a neutral voice, given his flirtations with a candidacy.

November 13, 2007 - 12:02 ET by rx4musicChris, I think Newt's trying to incite the conservatives to be locked and loaded when it really counts and not get caught flat-footed. I know a lot of conservatives that have a "wait and see" attitude about everything. I also think Newt believes he has too much baggage to be the candidate and doesn't want to be in a position to hurt the party. IMHO...

November 13, 2007 - 12:17 ET by Chris NormanYet, there's an underlying attitude from him that this is all a doomed cause and that there is nothing that can be done regarding Hillary. He suggested to Hannity that any attacks or criticism against Hillary won't work. He doesn't come out and say it, but taken in total, he's leaving little room for a Republican victory. If he believes that - fine - but as a party "elder" he shouldn't be so openly pessimistic and negative. I can only conclude that he's a little bitter about not being able to run.

November 13, 2007 - 15:50 ET by MikeBRx4, if he is trying to "incite conservatives to be locked and loaded", then he's going about it in a strange way. He should be out there pumping them up, not trying to discourage them. A constant drumbeat of "we're beaten, give up" is not the way to inspire. If he were trying to energize conservatives, he'd be out there attacking the ideas of the socialists, pointing out how those policies have failed and are failing. He'd be out there citing the ideas of conservatives and how those policies have benefited all Americans. His echoing "Hillary is inevitable" does nothing to incite conservatives.
Do you think that Illinois' head coach last week was inciting his team to be locked and loaded by telling them "you're gonna get your *sses whipped by Ohio State on Saturday. They're number one in the country, and their national title is inevitable"? If he had been, Ohio State would still be undefeated.

I'll agree he's not very inspiring at times...
November 13, 2007 - 16:08 ET by rx4music(and maybe incite was the wrong word to choose) But, he's been saying the same thing all along and maybe he's getting tired that no one is listening. It's not his style to be a cheerleader. That's what Hannity does. I don't think I've ever heard him say we're beaten, give up. I have heard him say that if the conservatives don't do some thing, you are gonna give it to the Dems... Nobody knows who the Republican candidate is going to be yet. Who should he be pumping up? Dick Morris kinda says the same thing, too. If somebody doesn't challenge Hillary and the stuff she's saying in her campaign, the conservatives are all but giving it to the libs... Maybe they're saving their ammo for after the primaries??
