A caller today told Mark Steyn about the altercation, saying that he actually brought the severed finger to the hospital for it to be sewn back on.  He said that it was a big guy who zeroed in on a small, older man.  Are there pictures?  Has there been any follow-up with Kenneth Gladney?

I read it on www.foxnews.com yet it was so confusing as it reported a health care supporter goes over to the opposition side of the street where a protester bit off the finger of a man who was not even involved. is the basic jist of the story.

the man who bit off the finger was not a protester he was a supporter of health care. the opposition group where the supporter went into are the protesters against health care. the supporter of health care bit the finger off someone he thought was the opposition. turns out the guy was just checking things out. wrong place wrong time.
the media skewed the story to make it look like those who are against health care reform bit the finger when it was in fact and truthfully a Obama Health care supporter who bit and run the poor man. who lost his digit to the crazed lefty. By the way it was his left hand that suffered the bite from the lefty supporter of Obamacare, this should add a new meaning to giving the finger.

the AP will stop at nothing to slam the right. Fox news later corrected the story so it read more intelligently.
