It seems to me that the liberal, big city "rest of us" initiated the war of condescencion towards "small town people" and conservatives long ago and their attitude was described succinctly by Barack Obama in San Francisco. Of course, Ms. Mitchell wouldn't recognize this - she doesn't even have a clue.

Sarah Palin is really an historic candidate, but the Dems will never acknowledge that.

If conservatives are RIGHT, then liberals must be WRONG.

Just a bit of my personal background- born in Carol Stream, IL and all of my family except my immediately family still resides in the Chicago area (Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines, Elgin, Lombard, etc.).  My parents moved to Indiana when I was one and I was raised essentially in rural Indiana.  Went to Purdue where there were a healthy amount of both rural Indiana kids and big city kids, particularly from Chicago (suburbs). 

Granted, this is a gross generalization to apply to an entire population, but without a doubt there was a much larger percentage of kids from the big city that were at the very least racially insensitive and at the worst ardent racists than there was among the rural kids.

Again, I say ignert (dws).

One thing they don't get.... there are way more of us than there are of them. And, we ARE pitted against Liberals from big cities who want to steal our earnings to line the pockets of their lazy fat-ass constituents for votes. We see how the corrupt cities like Chicago and Detroit operate... and we see who is in charge of those corrupt cities... and it isn't Republicans.

Well, I can imagine that is the case given that all those small town Republicans are bitterly clinging to their guns and religion.

Hey, is anybody wondering why Obama is spending so much time here in Pennslvania? 

And you won't in Liberal Land......go downstate a little ways, walk thru the Corn Fields of Illinois, and you will find some of the above described candidates.

We all have ideals, the city of Chicago has their own.   We had 123 murders in Chicago during the summer, and GUNS are basically outlawed in Chicago.   

Sounds like Palin should talk more about Obama's HOME TOWN ?

With much of the vicious attacks about Sarah Palin coming from MSM women, it is obvious that they have decided to save their worthless jobs rather than defend womanhood.

It is evident that the women of the country are listening very closely, and they don’t like what they are hearing from their MSM sisters.

Day after day I hear of women relating their disgust and, as a result, will be switching their vote to McCain/Palin.

Isn't that the next focus of "the surge"?  They've had more than twice as many murders as Iraq in the past few months and, given Senator Obama's recent understanding that the surge worked,  I thought that was where the surge was going next.

I hate talking about race because it is a touchy subject for everyone, but if polls indicate that 90% of black voters are going to vote for Obama based on the fact that he is a half-black, then why would an opposing candidate even care what this groups pundits think when they already showed their true colors? (pun intended)  Oh, and Mary Mitchell works for the Obama campaign.

I guess that whole "desperately clinging to their guns and bibles" thing was a unification message that we're just too un-spophisticated to understand (in a New Yorker magazine kind of way).

And ol' Rev Wright is really showing Obama how to spread the love, the "U.S. of KKK A."  way.  If we'd just stop infecting their community with Aids and drugs as a means of mass genocide, we would all be singing Kumbaya and toasting marshmallows together.

They, these uninformed readers, already do. I don't believe I'm too far off if I take a guess that close to 50% of the adults in this country are uninformed to the point where they believe what they read or watch on TV. Afterall, if Brian Williams, Charles Gibson, perky Katie or Wolf Blitzer report it as news, it  MUST BE FACTUAL NEWS! 

Isn't that one of the primary reasons why NewsBusters was created? So that the liberal bias and agenda of almost all the print and network media in the United States could be documented, publicised and disseminated through the DrudgeReport, FoxNews or other blogs to the general public.

We are not going to change the liberal media. But there is hope. As more and more people turn away from newspapers and TV and spend their time on the web for news and information, blogs such as NewsBusters will have a major impact in exposing this media bias.
