MANY THANKS, NB!
November 5, 2009 - 22:59 ET by needleI personally do not tweet or twitter or whatever; but I think it is brilliant to incorporate this live rolling reaction forum right into the NewsBuster’s web site. At least now we are not at the mercy or malice of Liberal elitists filtering and manipulating the nation’s thoughts, facts, and feelings about this tragedy /outrage.
This could be the beginning of the end of such Media mendacity.

Not a sincere bone in his body unless it's about a photo op. Not enough shoes in my house. Need more tv's now. Disgusting.. He'll be at every single funeral service with his photographer though.. you betcha.

November 6, 2009 - 08:05 ET by BDYeah, I feel the "Gee I wish he died" feeling, bu realize that he was more valuable alive to interrogate than simply assuming room temperature.
Many questions will come from this and will only be answerable if he is sitting across the table from a skilled interogator.
Personnally, I would send his ass to Gitmo until his execution six weeks from now...... But we know the DOD is incapable of executing even the most heinous of villains on their death row.
6 weeks?
November 6, 2009 - 08:20 ET by ShanghaiRayMore like 10 years....I predict he will not be executed before 10 years has passed, if that. Quite possibly the powers that be might just pull the plug on his respirator so their own duplicity and ineptitude won't be uncovered. And on top of all of that the last active duty military person to be executed took place in 1957 ...Prez Bush ordered the execution of Pvt. Ronald Gray but some federal judge decided that he was a better CINC than Bush and stayed the execution...you don't really think Obambi will order one do you?

Shanghai: Yes, you are
November 6, 2009 - 08:30 ET by BDShanghai:
Yes, you are corect, the last execution carreid out by the military was in 1961. I was speaking wistfully for the good old days.
I have personal knowledge of the Loving case as it happened 20 years ago at Fort Hood when I was there. The fact that HE is still drawing breath at Leavenworth is an OUTRAGE.
We need to start pulling "Jesse Waters" on these federal judges and start approaching them on golf courses with cameras to ask "Just why the Hell did you prevent the execution of such a heinous individual." THen start showing them photos of the victims on camera and their surviving families and see how fast they sprint to the parking lots to get off camera.
Perhaps after a few of them are impeached and lose their cushy jobs on the bench and are replaced by conservatives we will get a working semblance of a justice system back in this country.
Spinning Faster Than The Spin Cycle....
November 6, 2009 - 04:34 ET by ShanghaiRayon an old worn out washing machine.
The MSM including Fox is now starting to spin for the poor little Muslim boy who was obvioulsy teased and persecuted into doing this. I mean, those big bad American soldiers deserved what they got, right? They teased poor little Hasan about his ethnicity, his peaceful religion and his half-assed political ideas. He was a meglomaniac and psychotic killer for a relgion of crapola and nothing more. They are saying he didn't want to be deployed to Afghanistan...perhaps not but not for the reasons the traitorous media would have us believe. He didn't want to shoot at his brethen. I guess he joined the Army to shoot Germans or French or something.....dumbass that he is. Also, let's all hear from his personal cheerleaders such as his sweet cousin....that poor little Hasan was a good all-American boy and didn't even want to go to the firing range. Yeah, spin, spin, spin...everytime we hear about something like this...grandmas, cousins, aunts et al. come out of the woodwood from some god forsaken rat hole to protest what a good boy these evil crackpots are....makes me sick to my stomach...everyone is a victim....everyone has justification...the prisons are full of innocent railroaded people....spit, puke.

November 6, 2009 - 08:08 ET by BDBeing that he worked in the field of Psychology we can assume he was messed up.
After all, that is why people gravitate to that field, to self diagnose themselves. Now we just have to analyze how much of his problem came from his own mind and how much was influenced by Jihad.
Excellent point
November 6, 2009 - 08:32 ET by BlondeIt's going to be interesting to see his OER's.
I bet he's on the far left of the platoon of Joes.
BTW, many years ago I was the controller of a NPO that worked with messed up teens. All of the counselors were MSW's or better. My anecdotal evidence backs up your first sentence 100%....each and every one of them was a basket case.
I hope he fails, too.
Blonde: I hear ya. But
November 6, 2009 - 09:00 ET by BDBlonde:
I hear ya. But the dirty little secret is that in the last twenty years a great deal of Political correctness has sneaked in to the DOD.
The key now days when reviewing an OER from what could be called "A lesser represented individual" in the ranks is to look to see if the rater and senior rater "Damned with faint praise" rather than came right out and said "This officer sucked." Now, a mainstream officer will get hammered, but the others will just be placed in the middle.
And who suffers the most? The GOOD officers from the lesser represented demographics who are given a watchful eye to see if they are just as bad as those who are covered for.
BD, sounds like not much has changed
November 6, 2009 - 09:41 ET by BlondeThe damning by faint praise thing....same old same old.
I remember well reading my ex's first OER....and him explaining the very same to me. (You should know we were on our way to Ft. Riley, his first duty station after Officer's Basic at Ft. Huachuca (!), and stopped in Iowa on the night the great Ronald Maximus was elected. No celebratory drink for me, LOL, dry county).
Back then (do they still do this?) they actually had a bell curve, the platoon of Joes, where the rater x'd off the rated officer's position....that's what I meant by that remark. The ex explained that "performs as expected for a lieutenant with his experience" was NOT a good thing, "should be considered for promotion immediately, as this officer exhibits maturity and acumen well beyond his experience and training" was a good thing. Oh, and I was SHOCKED to see ME on his first OER, too. I was not a good officer's wife. At all. No one told me what it was all about. I played a good game of bridge, tho.
I hope he fails, too.
No, they got rid of the
November 6, 2009 - 19:19 ET by BDNo, they got rid of the "Pyramid" with its mandatory "Atlas" holding up the world at the bottom. It was supposedly gotten rid of due to the inflationary pressure that had most officers get top blocks regardless of merit.
They instituted a computerized version now that only allows one top block to be given away for every non top block put on a commanders profile. therefore only 50% of the officers can be given the top block.
