One more positive about the Tea Parties is that the Susan Roesgen "reporting" incident demonstrated true media bias to more people. Americans, for the most part, dislike injustice. As the media continues its immature, ignorant unfairness decent citizens will come to realize what has become of American "journalism". Attacking Sarah Palin, now almost a blood sport for "liberal" ignoramuses, is getting quite old very quickly. And with the internet now on the scene, hiding the truth is becoming an almost impossible task for lying hypocrites. Maybe there is hope after all.

I used to think that the media's attacks on Palin were because they are afraid of her and  want to damage her so that she can never run nationally again.

I thought it was personal.  Now I'm not so sure.  

They might be going after the GOP as a whole.

I think they just might be using these constant tabloid-type stories on her in an attempt to make her the face of the Republican party....if they can paint the GOP as the people who talk "family values" but have imperfect families themselves, then they can say they are all hypocrites.

Because we all know, one can't aspire to an ideal unless one is already perfect.  And the way to never fall short of ideals is not to have them to begin with.

terminology and borrowed a slogan from a sister TV channel: “You know,
our sister network TNT has a slogan called ‘we do drama.’ That might be
a new campaign slogan.”

If CNN keeps diving into the depths of the ratings, slogans like "May I have an application?" are in their future.

After this blog, some on this site will recognize me for the prescient, sapient being that I am.  Just the other day, one inquisitive NBer asked (to the effect of), ‘Give me a straight answer, why is the media fascinated with Sarah Palin? … and don’t tell me that they are afraid of her.’  I gave her a straight answer which today has been confirmed by this very site; Sarah fills the supermarket tabloid void. 

Back in the day, The National Inquirer or some such rag would have had a grainy black and white photo of Sarah Palin and some big guy in a hairy gorilla costume holding hands and walking along an Alaskan creek bed.  The huge banner headline would have read:  SARAH PALIN:  “I AM CARRYING BIG FOOT’S BABY!”

Sadly, such rags have been replaced by glossy’s like Women’s Day, Cosmopolitan, and of course the Internets. (SIC/GWB).  But triumphantly, Sarah Palin lives on to fill the void of unbelievable bumpkin folklore!

It took a host of conservative bloggers days to debunk this one, and it was time well spent for them and the rest of us who love Dear Sarah.  (I love the guy in the background with a Schlitz and a cig.  This was your first clue that the picture wasn’t real.)

Anyway, Americans love Dear Sarah for many reasons, not least of which she is from cold, hard, unburnished stock and seems to relish the fact.

Now, I am not sure whether to sue CNN for stealing my material, or have sex with an alien on the mother ship.  Any suggestions?

Palin's family troubles relate to her immediate nuclear family, whereas Obama's do not. That is a very big difference. It doesn't mean the misbehavior of his relatives should not be covered by the media, but it does mean that they are less exciting.

Right or wrong, people see your messed up children as a product of you and a possible reflection of your shortcomings. People do not see your messed up half brothers or cousins you never lived with as a reflection of your problems and shortcomings.

The recent surge in CNN & the rest of the MSM's unprofessional & childish behavior is staggering.  So far I have written 3 letters to CNN execs of Susan Roesgen's abhorrent behavior towards Norm at the Chicago Tea Party.  That seems easier to target for a "one-off" incident.

The problem with defending Palin, who I too truly believe has been unfairly brutalized, is that the loons & MSM are coming at her from all sides and it is very difficult to ward off what is obviously a well-funded commando operation on detrimental publicity for Palin or any GOP hopeful that steps forward, or even might step forward.

Perhaps we, the public, can divide and conquer with strategic strikes back where it hurts, now that many of us have read Saul Alinksi's Rules now too!  I, for one, feel compelled to dish back their own tactics; enough of being the "Silent Majority" and enough of turn the other cheek. 

As one of those first timers to ever step forward and protest at the Tea Party or protest at anything for that matter, I was proud to see so many like minded people speak up & step out.   I never wrote letters to WA & Congress in my life before the Obama Spend-a-thon began either. But because of recent events, it is clear, that my work, and others has just begun.

Someone should do a youtube soap-opera about the Bamster, featuring the pedophile half-brother, the dope dealer other half-brother in a shack, the welfare auntie, the layabout communist father, the mandingo-complex mother, the girlfriend Vera Baker that M'chell found out about, the white girlfriend he dumped in Columbia, the loon Reverend Wright, the mafiosi Tony Rezko, the terrorist Bill Ayers, and of course starring the coke-snorting star of unknown nationality.

Could be a hit.

 I've been scracthing my head, how do you get a 1/2 sister-in-law, and so, who got the other 1/2??!!~~!!

Palin is being tested by a cruel fire, if she survives and chooses to run for national office i think she will be unstopable. First she has to survive, not only the sub-slime media, the lib pervs, and the faint hearted of the cons. If she survives she will be hard as nails and tougher than whang leather. With strength of character and a vision of where and how to lead this country she will be hard to beat after coming through the fire she has been subjected to. It remains to be seen? I would'nt blame her if she chose to say the hell with it and returned to private life.
