Boehner Blowing Kisses Brings Back Bad Memories for Brzezinski

February 27th, 2015 9:48 AM

On today's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski suffered a bad bout of PKSD: Post Kiss Stress Disorder.

After a clip was rolled of John Boehner blowing kisses at a reporter, Mika got all verklempt, exclaiming "I know a lot of dirty old men who did that to me. I'm throwing up. That brought back bad memories."   Things got so bad for poor Mika that she eventually fled the set and had to be coaxed back.

Makes you wonder just who those "dirty old men" might have been?

REPORTER: It's going to be a clean DHS funding bill. Are you going to put it on the floor? Are you going to kill it?  Are you going to vote on it? Have you even had this discussion?

JOHN BOEHNER: [Blowing kisses] When we make decisions, I'll let you know.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Willie Geist: what's he doing there?

WILLIE GEIST: I have no idea.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Did he go like that [imitates blowing kiss]?

SCARBOROUGH: Why is he blowing kisses?  Valentine's Day is past.

BRZEZINSKI: What happened? [screeches] I want to see that.

SCARBOROUGH: Let's see that again.

BRZEZINSKI: Stop! That's not good!

SCARBOROUGH:  Jeremy Peters, who covers the Hill for the New York Times, so, why the kissing? What's going on there? Jeremy, what was his doing? What kind of statement was he making. Let's put it back up again.

BRZEZINSKI: No! Please, don't. The children will run away.

SCARBOROUGH: Was he kissing Luke [Russert]?

SAM STEIN: No. It's a guy named [inaudible] he was kissing.

WILLIE GEIST:  I'm really not satisfied with any of these answers. I can't make any sense of it.

BRZEZINSKI: I'm not satisfied. [squeals] What's going on? I know a lot of dirty old men who did that to me.

SCARBOROUGH: Oh my gosh. I want to hear these stories from the south of France or from your country club in Maine --

BRZEZINSKI: I'm throwing up. When I was growing up.  Oh, mommy! That brought back bad memories. Oh!

. . .

SCARBOROUGH: Can we have a split cam on Mika, who's left because she cannot handle what's going on. She's now left. Mika, where are you? Get back here.

BRZEZINSKI: It's all good.

SCARBOROUGH: Have you contained yourself?
