Move Along, Nothing To See: Politico's Gavin Whitewashes Obama Primary Embarrassments
Imagine that in one 2004 Republican primary, an opponent running to George Bush's left got 40% of the vote, and in another primary, more than 4-in-10 Republicans voted for "uncommitted" rather than support the incumbent president. Now imagine the doom the MSM would have found that to portend for Bush.
But when a candidate running to the right of Barack Obama garners 40% of the vote in the Arkansas Dem primary, and "uncommitted" amasses an astounding 42% in Kentucky . . . crickets. On Morning Joe today, Politico's Patrick Gavin proclaimed that PBO's embarrassing performance "doesn't matter." View the video after the jump.
I'll be back with the transcript, but in the meantime, watch Gavin, with help from Willie Geist, whistle past PBO's electoral graveyard.
PATRICK GAVIN: Does it matter? No. The turnout was pretty low, it was only 14%, and the Obama administration of course knows they're not going to win these states anyway.
WILLIE GEIST: Isn't that the larger point? He lost Kentucky by 17 points in 2008, he lost Arkansas by 20 points to John McCain in 2008. These were not in play to begin with . . . To recap your headline, none of this matters.
GAVIN: Yes.

How much I hope you're right. They (the dems) do seem to be incredibly unaware of the social mood in this country lately. And the media is a prime example of how the politicians are thinking - they don't report it, so it doesn't exist. Stick your head in the sand and the problem will go away. The dem leadership seems to think they can throw virtually anything against the wall and it will stick. And if it doesn't stick, they believe these unbelievably ridiculous "issues" they keep hyping won't do anything to damage what little credibility they may still have. They just don't realize (both the politicians and the media) that people are wising up to their game and are getting tired of the BS and by their intelligence being insulted on a daily basis by these arrogant fools. You can only talk down to someone for a certain amount of time before they up and smack you in the face. I think the dems are about to feel the slap...
So both Arkansas and Kentucky

If you're not supporting Barky or every syllable he utters, that means YOU are a racist. Isn't how that how it works now in our brave new world?
Facts are like kryptonite to the liberal.
Obama not doing well in

Obama not doing well in Kentucky and Arkansas doesn't matter to the national media because those states are considered flyover states and are the population centers like New York, Chicago and L.A. that they truly care about.
Gavin is either a moron or a liar

BOING!
OK, let's think about that.
42% of the voters in the Kentucky Democratic primary took the time and effort to go to a polling place and cast their vote for "I don't know." If it didn't matter, then why did they go through all that trouble?
42% !!!!!
Let's take it from a different angle -- There is only one real candidate on the Democratic primary ballot: President Barack Obama. The voter had a choice between Obama and "Uncommitted," and nearly half vote for Uncommitted!!!
Maybe they don't care about Kentucky, but Kentucky borders Ohio, and they do care about Ohio. How many Dems in Ohio are indifferent to Obama?
Every now & then Willie highlights the BS

Willie Geist used to team with Tucker Carlson way back and no matter how he has to grovel and sit still and be silent for a paycheck, every now and then he'll discreetly point out the BS of MSNBC's liberal slant. He's not being serious, he's being sarcastic.

Patrick Gavin = CREEPY

Everytime those idiots on Morning Schmoe introduce this creep on TV, they ALWAYS mention that he has alot of cats. Not that being a person that likes cats is a problem, but they always emphasize that he has ALOT of them. And when you see people with ALOT of cats on tv, they are usually hoarders or have some strange fetish. This dude is one of the creepiest media people I see on this network. Just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it.

Hay, idiots, this was the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY! Of course they matter! Those primaries determine the delegate pledges for the Convention! What happens if Obama loses the Convention, something that could happen if he keeps losing pledges? Has anyone even thought about it? The Democrat's Convention is going to be VERY interesting this year!
By the way, what IS Obama's pledge count to date? No one ever seems to mention it.

supporters that this election is going to be a seven point or better landslide victory for Romney.
Romney is doing almost everything right and Obama is doing almost everything wrong.
Even staunch Conservatives, like Mark Levin who were lukewarm to Romney in the beginning, are starting to come around.
People who thought Romney was just another McCain, are starting to realize Romney should have been their nominee in 2008.
As a Romney supporter in 2008, I say better late than never!
