Harold Ford, Jr.: Republicans Wrong To Believe Obama Enjoys Great Favor From Media
Of all the Morning Joe regulars, I find Harold Ford, Jr. the least interesting. Ever on the lookout for his next opportunity, the fiercely ambitious Ford is firmly of the "my good friend" so-and-so school of politics, constantly hedging his bets and finding a way to praise or agree with virtually everyone.
So it was an exception this morning when the former Dem congressman from Tennessee actually said something of note, if only for its sheer silliness. Ford somehow managed to maintain a straight face while claiming the media doesn't strongly favor Barack Obama. Video after the jump.
Ford made his fact-defying comment in explaining Newt Gingrich's success in South Carolina. According to Ford, the Republican electorate loved Newt's attacks on the media--even though Republicans were mistaken in thinking the media is biased toward Obama. Right.
I'll be back with a transcript, but in the meantime watch Ford deny the obvious.
HAROLD FORD, JR.: Gingrich I think in South Carolina demonstrated to Republicans--it cannot be underestimated or understate--that he was willing to take it to the media, and more importantly willing to take it to Obama. Republicans believe--rightly or wrongly, I think wrongly--that Obama enjoys great favor amongst the media.

Hes right! "Everyone knows that the media is in the tank for Evangelical Conservative Christian Republicans! Obama hasn't gotten a break ever! He's had to fight all his life against the blatant racism and prejudice of the extreme right media of CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, and FOX." Just quoting a Liberal Democrat friend who is a retired educator. By the way, he claims the Republicans controlled Congress for the last sixty years. No suprise then, that our education process is so falty!

I wold invite him to take a simple test.
1) List the number of Republicans who've been "willing to take it to the media" (Ford's words).
2) List the number of times that Obama has taken it to the media.
Compare the two and ask yourself, "Why is that?"

If we don`t believe you just ask Obama. Right? it`s strange that just the other day Obama was complaining about the MSM not giving him a fair shake. Well sorry Mr. Ford Jr. but, they are the only ones left to play the blame game on he has blamed everyone else for his Socialists agenda failed economy, and cronyism politics from Bush, to Congress, to business, to bible thumpers, to gun owners, to right wingers, to Tea Party, to individual congress members, to racists, to banks, to rating company's, to ATM`s the list just goes on and on. So, guess who is left to blame his failures on, that`s right the MSM. Everyone else has taken a dip in his brown bucket now it`s the MSM`s turn. Of course everybody knows he is looking for sympathy from his ex-followers and anyone that will listen in the hopes of boosting his ratings and getting votes in 2012.

This is like that old prize fighter joke. The Kid is getting pummeled right and left by his opponent, and The Kid can hardly stagger back to his corner. His trainer says, "Keep it up, Kid, he aint layin a glove on ya."
The Kid replies, "well you better keep an eye on the referee cause somebody sure is."
The media "referees" are laying their gloves on the conservative republicans. Obama gets a free pass for whatever he wants to do or not do.
