In Pakistan, Hillary Says Obama-Bush Like 'Daylight And Dark'

So much for politics ending at the water's edge . . .

Hillary Clinton has gone to Pakistan and bragged of having opposed Pres. Bush during her entire Senate career. Clinton also depicted the difference between Barack Obama and George W. Bush as being "like daylight and dark."

For good measure, Clinton played the moral equivalency card, declaring "we cannot let a minority of people in both countries determine our relationship." The Pakistani minority she had in mind is presumably composed of al Qaeda and its sympathizers. Clinton didn't specify which Americans she would equate with them.

Of course this isn't the first time Hillary has denigrated America abroad in playing the moral equivalency card. In Nigeria in August, she compared the Florida 2000 recount with Nigeria's infamously rigged elections.

Here's the AP report on Clinton's braggadocio before the Pakistani students [emphasis added]:

As a way of repudiating past U.S. policies toward Pakistan, Clinton told the students "there is a huge difference" between the Obama administration's approach and that of former President George W. Bush. "I spent my entire eight years in the Senate opposing him," she said to a burst of applause from the audience of several hundred students. "So, to me, it's like daylight and dark."

America is fighting terrorism around the world, but the difference between "daylight and dark" she sees is that between George W. Bush and Barack Obama?

Will the MSM highlight Clinton's intemperate remarks? Don't count on it. Reporting from Pakistan this morning on the Today show, Andrea Mitchell focused on the "tough questioning" Hillary took from the university students. Mitchell said not a word about the shots Clinton took, on foreign soil, at the previous American president.

Much as I disliked Bush's policies especially towards the end of his run I don't think he hated America or was a coward like B-Daddy is.

In a perverse way she is exactly correct. Hillary is known for not having a high regard for the truth.

President George W. Bush is a good honest Christian man. He honors Christ in his daily life. He has honored Christ with innumerable people throughout his life.

Jesus Christ is the light. As a true Christian man President Bush has carried that light with him. President Bush has celebrated his Christianity in real Christian churches his entire adult life.

President Bush took office after eight years of corruption and ethical scandals in the Clinton Whitehouse. So for the country he was like a spot of daylight after years of the Clinton pall.

Hillary and Obama are students of Saul Allinsky. Allinsky teaches that truth is not important. Sounding reasonable is important until one achieves power. Once in power it is to be wielded without regard to consequences.

Obama spend twenty years in a "church" that taught hate. Many people refer to Hillary as "The Evil One". So the pair are in fact like the Dark.

In Conclusion: President Bush is like Daylight and Obama is like the Dark.

Basically, Hillary just told the whole world that any agreement with the United States lasts only as long as the current administration. Or more precisely, no Democrat administration will honor the agreements or commitments of a Republican administration.

We've already ditched eastern Europe to curry favor with Putin and the Russians ... who happen to be the chief reason the East Europeans came to us in the first place.
Georgians? Forget it.
Iraq? Forget it.
Iranian dissidents? Forget it.
Honduras? Colombia? Any non-Marxist Latin Americans? Forget it.
Chinese dissidents? Don't bother.
And a special betrayal: Not only have we ditched Israel ... we're now leading the criticism and opposition against them.

Diplomats only have one weapon: credibility. That's earned by remaining consistent through thick and thin. This administration has abandoned all credibility, and they're now trying to leverage Obama's popularity instead. Do you think anyone is going to make a long term commitment with Hillary now? Would you?

Liberals never learn. People and nations pursue their own self-interest, as they see it. Liberals expect others to advance their (i.e., the liberals') interests, because they assume their own interests are pure and noble.

Precisely. Like I also stated below, all policies and maneuverings by Democrats, it seems to me, are so deeply rooted in the hyper-partisan world they operate in, that it transcends everything -- to the point they even have no shame when it comes to foreign policy. None at all.
