Here's how a crestfallen Snyderman opened her MSNBC show today: "A profound loss for Chicago . . . a stunning blow to the United States . . . I'm one of those people who is profoundly disappointed. I can't hide this one."
There's video after the break that should give a hint to the real answer . . .
So what's making Snyderman so sad? At one point, she fretted "will this be any kind of misstep that might cause the president any kind of political fall-out?"

I was having lunch one day and listening to a drug rep talk with one of the peds docs. The drug rep asked the peds doc what kind of people decide to go into psychiatry and the doc answered without any hesitation, "The crazy ones". After our laughter subsided, he went on to explain that the psych folks are smart enough to know that something is wrong with them, and go into psychiatry to self-diagnose.
