Melissa Harris-Lacewell: The Princeton prof is a regular guest on The Rachel Maddow show, a regular contributor on NPR and a columnist for The Nation

The most telling aspect of their contributors list is that the sole conservative is labelled at such: "Seth Johnson. Conservative political activist." No contributors are labelled as "liberal." Guess that's just a given. By the way, Johnson is 24. Which is not to say that he won't have strong, well-expressed opinion. But he is likely to be overwhelmed in a sea of liberal heavyweights.

Fact is, if you actually go to the site and read some of the stories they are relevant to the segment they are aiming for. There's no overt agenda to manipulate politics and to be honest a lot of those stories there haven't been covered in the msm. The logo is a story teller with his walking stick. For those of you who used the word "speer chucker" I see exactly where your head is. And have you looked at sites like Fox Nation or Townhall? Not a lot of minority interest stories there.
