MSNBC's Dr. Nancy: White House Agenda Is Our Agenda

Photo of Mark Finkelstein.

At one point during her new MSNBC show today, Dr. Nancy Snyderman proclaimed:

"the White House, their health care agenda continues to be our agenda."

Snyderman would probably say she meant it only in terms of the subject matter the show will cover, not its point of view.  But she was, if unintentionally, revealing a larger truth.  Just in time for the Obama admin's push on health care, MSNBC has rolled out a show that loyally pushes the Obama plan, right down to the call for nationalization via the so-called "public option."

Take today's show in which Snyderman hosted a debate between two public health experts debating the advisability of taxing sugary soft drinks. Snyderman came down on the side of higher taxation. Why?  In part to "support perhaps a public health option." Ending the show with yet another call to tax soft drinks, she concluded with this chilling remark:

"We have to really get hard on what we're going to offer people and how we're going to pay [for] it."

Big Obama Care is coming.  And you can be sure that Dr. Nancy will be doing her part to push it.

Tut, tut, little people

If I was a millionaire surgeon/celebrity, I wouldn't be concerned about spending an additional $25/month on soda, either.

But soda will just be the start of the society-wide indoctrination program they're planning as we speak.

Ben Stein said it best last

Ben Stein said it best last week-end, he is frightened for our country. I wish I could disagee with him. This is truly a sad time for politics, our country and especially the media.

When I heard she was going

When I heard she was going to get her own show, I immediately thought, oh great another 24/7 push for the One and his National Health Care BS...another free informercial with msnbc...it is so obvious...and so maddening.

Wanna bet the ratings are gonna be really sick...an aspirin wouldn't help either...that is if the FDA allows aspirin to stay on the shelves.

Btw...same reason as having Ratigan having his own show...$$$ and how well O is doing with the economy and other programs he wants to cram down our throats.

msnbc is nothing but state controlled by O and his team...

Actually, they should be embarrassed, but the devil disregards such.

Snyderman's show

Just what I look for when I turn on the TV - yet another place to get lectured for an hour on how I'm so stupid I don't what's good for me.

If this is going to be anything like her guest segments on Lauer's Show, I'll be anxiously tuning in for the daily offerings of "Today, you're likely to die from _________."

If I wanted to just off myself outright, I'd start watching "The Ed Show" and get it over with quickly.

I already saw that movie.

Never hunger, never prosper, I have fallen prey to failure!

But hay I got health coverage, as long as I don't get sick!

But then, media bias is a myth, right?

'Big Obama Care is coming'

Stay with this, Obama has threatened the GOP not to interfere. If the GOP will not cave the libs will use senate procedures to prevent a filibuster.
