As far as the comment by Mizz Collins goes, it's idiotic even by her standards.  If McCain had picked Snowe, I would have stayed home and donated $0, and would have been talking 1972-type landslide.  

I did a little research and found that our lovely Gail Collins / Peppermint Patty, has written a book called: America's Woman: Four Hundred Years of Dolls, Drudges, Helpmates, and Heroines

It talks about the struggle of women thru the ages from colonial times to now. It talks about how women have suffered and won.

According to Publishers Weekly: Creating a compellingsocial history, Collins discovers "it's less a war against oppressive men than a struggle to straighten out the perpetually mixed message about women's role that was accepted by almost everybody of both genders."

Wow, now here is a woman that wants women to get ahead, to succeed, all women except conservative women.

Meat eating non hunting liberals think:

Hamburg comes from trees. Pork chops are not from pigs. There must be a place on the chicken called a nugget. Eggs magically appear in neat little rows. That hot dogs are not made of meat--which doesn't come from animals. The leather shoes, gloves, purse, briefcase all are made from non animal products.

They also think a slaughterhouse is humane. That lining pen rasied animals up to be electrocuted in factory fashion is better than going out and finding your food, killing it, packaging it and knowing exactly what you eat.

That PETA is a normal and sane organization that just wants what's best for the animals. Though PETA's true goals are to have no pets, no conservation and no need for vets.

The very ignorance of the "anti-hunting" meat eating, leather wearing public is mind boggling.

PS--moose is one best cuts of meats I ever ate. I also like Buffalo way better than beef. Sarah Palin will not go away because the liberals won't let her.

Though I don't agree with "trophy hunting", per se, - unless it is self-defense or defense of farm animals, etc.., if you shoot something, you ought to eat it.

I believe that fits Sarah Palin's description, she hunts to help keep in practice in case she needs to help put food on her family's table.  It is about being self-sufficient, something we are rapidly losing touch with in our urbanized society.

Hunting is not for everyone, but some of us have enough sense to admire those with those skills.

Ms Collins comes across as jealous. Take one look at her and you realize the last time she caught a man was when she hailed a cab. The poor woman looks miserable.

Unless Gail Collins is a vegitarian, she is an accomplice to murder whenever she has a steak or seafood at her favorite trendy NYC restaurant.

I am not sure which Collins is afflicted by more - ugliness or stupidity, but I am leaning toward stupidity. 

The election has been over for more than a month. The more the liberal media continue to bash Sarah Palin, the more I am convinced they realize what a formidable opponent she is and how she scares the sh#t out of them.

Here in New Hampshire, we started a moose hunting season to SAVE lives-both moose lives, and human lives.

Part of the reason for starting a moose hunting season was simple-there were too many of them. And as anyone with an IQ higher than a piece of lawn furniture knows, an overpopulation of a species is bad, because there isn't enough food for them to go around. It's called "culling the herd".

And each year here in NH we have at least 250 moose-car collisions. Some of these kill the humans in the cars, and many other people in the cars are injured.

Allow me to explain it for you biblically...Jesus called such people "blind guides" who choke on small matters while allowing great evil.

THis means that they'll struggle mightily to comprehend the smallest moral difficulty while allowing great evil to go unnoticed. Hence the "moose" vs. "BABY" conflict. Should you ever wonder WHY seemingly "intelligent" people can think things so utterly beyond comprehension, He also addressed that. How for instance, can two nasty men call the ways in which they abuse each others rectums, "marriage"? More importantly, how can there be people who call themselves "christian" AGREE? Well,the Lord explains all of this in the thirteenth chapter of Matthew in a parable called the Wheat and the Tares which basically says that He didn't place all of the people here who are here, the DEVIL put some of 'em here too! Didn't know that didja?  Matt 13:24-30, with it's explanation at Matt 13:36-42. 

I'll probably be referred to in harsh terms like "intolerant" or something at this point, by those whose "theology" is riddled with fallacious statements like "Love the sin, but hate the sinner" which is refuted in too many places to list but here's one, 1Corinthians 5:9-11. These are the same people who will assert that I'm judgmental and that "Jesus came to bring peace on earth" which is of course is EXACTLY the OPPOSITE of why CHRIST SAID HE CAME! (Matt 10:34-38).

With the so called Christianity of most of the world a LIE,  and something that wouldn't even be recognized by His own apostles who were charged with forming the church, is it any wonder that some liberal "strains" at Moose hunting but yet swallows BABY KILLING? Food for thought. Search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life.

I think it is cute that someone would go to the trouble of getting an account here, just to tell the posters how much they enjoyed mocking them. Especially since I am new here, and it took 6 days for my account to be approved. So it seems to me that is a great deal of trouble to go to, for what? Oh well, their time, I guess. I have tried reading Collins' work for years, but she is very disjointed in her writing. I have trouble following her point at times, I find it amusung she is such a champion for women's rights, unless they are on the right. And at the risk of being puerile, juvenile, and silly all rolled in to one, This poor woman needs to invest in some eyebrow wax, and white strips if she cannot afford to have these services done by a professional. I know the Times is cutting back, but surely someone can gift her an appointment for a salon day. Love the hair, too. Harkens right back to the grand old 70's, she is definately cutting edge NY.
