So where was Matthews for the last 8 years????  Oh, I see, such support was conditional to the president being a Democrat.  Why Chrissy, is that why you wouldn't say anything bad about Bill Clinton?  What more proof does anyone need regarding the MSM being the PR firm for the Dem Party? 

Of course now Obama and the Dems say, let's make nice, the campaign is over and let's all work together.  Really?  The Dem smear campaign of 8 years is over?  BS, then why are they still harping about Palin? 

No sir, you want cooperation and trust, you got to have a track record that merits such a leap of faith.  We will not be willingly suspending our disbelief.  Leadership is about bringing people together for a common purpose.  Obama and the Dems have yet to display any leadership.  If you want followers then lead and don't blame people for NOT following when it is YOUR responsibility to engender trust NOT ours to blindly give it.

With a new Obama administration and the MSM loosing advertisers and viewers like water through a seive, the next big bailout would have to be them.

Think of the process.  Conspiratorial, I admit but, they enact the Fairness Doctrine, first for radio to eliminate Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, Beck and such.  Then apply the same principles to cable so you can bring FNC under control.

Next thing you know, the federal government bails out the New York Times and the AP and voila...instant State News Service.

I am with maggie although I took it a step further.  I have a black list hanging on my office wall.  I haven't only boycotted cbs, nbc, msnbc, pbs & cnn, any media personality, including actors have been boycotted if they have spewed negative comments regarding the country.  Our only power is in our wallets.  If we stop, going to their movies, watching their talk shows, reading their books/newspapers listening to their music, we will make an impact. Movie tickets are around $11.00 a piece, CD's average $15.00 to $20.00.  That is money saved and a statement made. We have to be willing to give up what they call entertainment.  I have a much more peaceful home since I made this decision.  It is hipocritical to me to complain about what they say and then support them financially.  People have got to turn off their TV's and stop looking for other forms of entertainment. 

Taken in light of that thrill up his leg, I really don't want to know what Matthews' "odd job" description might include.

It's clear, though, that journalism is not part thereof.  Goodnight, Mr. Matthews, and good -er- luck.  Yeah, that's it.

Please inform Mr. Matthews that he was hired to provide propaganda responses for the Obama campaign, and congrads on a job well done.  You can't possibly think the Dali Bama wants you around now?

I don't consume one iota of MSM in any form.  I think of Mr. Tingles as just fodder for blog comedy.  Gee, what a legacy for a career.  I wish someone would watch the MSM for a few evenings, and compile a list of companies who sponsor this crap so I could launch a letter writing and boycott campaign.  Personally, I can't stomach that task.   

Its obvious Matthews either wants a Job in the Obama Administration or will run for Senate himself. He is clearly not a journalist and now has lost some clout with the rise of Rachel Maddow at MSNBC. With the election behind us look for Matthews ratings to drop like a hammer.

I watched his show religiously for several years (as well as Olbermann's).  It was a good show.  But I grew tired of his constantly talking over people while they were trying to answer his questions.
