On this evening's Hardball, Chris Matthews began his teaser for a segment about Sarah Palin's pending press interview and plans to field questions at a town hall by exclaiming "look who's talking" as an image of Palin [see screencap] appeared bearing the same graphic.
"Look who's talking" is of course the title of a 1989 hit movie in which the person doing the talking was . . . an infant.
View video here.
Could Matthews possibly be any more condescending? Chris might want to consider that the voice of Mikey, the infant in the movie, was supplied by . . . Bruce Willis. Die hard with a vengeance, anyone?
Note: speaking of condescension, don't miss the sneering way in which Matthews pronounces "Fox" in mentioning Palin's impending interview with Sean Hannity.

The tiny shread of objectivity (and I mean tiny) has been thrown out the windown. He absolutely badgered and taunted the McCain spokeswoman last night and the Republican Congressman today. I've honestly never seen anything like it. If the Congressman would have had any balls at all he would have lit him up.
Unforunately, he didn't.

Balboa, for the millionth time...
September 17, 2008 - 21:54 ET by UnsaneCapable of leading people, you say? Then explain this, I type this for the millionth time:
Sarah Palin is a governor. Other than being CinC of the AK NG, she has no say in how the Armed Forces are run. Yet, she visited her troops in the AOR. Of her own freewill with little prodding.
Barack Obama is a United States Senator, and as such votes on such things as confirmations of various DoD officials and flag officer promotion lists. He also votes on the DoD budget. He has a great deal of input into how the Armed Forces are run, and much more so than Palin. He had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the AOR. This man is voting on military matters and he did not want to be bothered to see what he is voting on!
Palin is the governor and in the VP slot. Obama is the Senator and running for President. Which of these two have demonstrated more leadership?
Whoever casts a vote for Obama-Biden is nothing more than a common thief. Whoever fails to vote against them is nothing more than a moral coward.
None of that means he can't

September 18, 2008 - 09:49 ET by UnsaneYou aren't getting away that easily.
I showed you how Palin demonstrated leadership, and how Obama simply does not want to. (In my example he was led.)
Now its your turn. Show me how Obama has demonstrated leadership in anything. (I don't think he's even authored legislation and gone around the U.S. Senate working to get it passed as even McCain has [as opposed to co-sponsoring].)
Whoever casts a vote for Obama-Biden is nothing more than a common thief. Whoever fails to vote against them is nothing more than a moral coward.

September 17, 2008 - 19:05 ET by smartestmaninamericaYou may have seen some of the latest polls from "unbiased" sources such as CBS/NYTimes and DailyKos showing Obama with a 4 and 5 point lead.
Both Rasmussen and Gallup are now declaring the party affiliation advantage to Democrats of 3-5 points.
But CBS/NYTimes and DailyKos can't be bothered with that. They slide a 9-10 point sampling advantage to Democrats in every poll, then forget to announce that fact when they release the poll.
