Welcome to the Dem's dirty little secret: the majority of the racism and sexism that they complain about is in their own regressive party, and it's most concentrated in the unions. The Democrat Party has always been the natural home of racism since before the Civil War, and they are still pissed for having the Civil Rights Act rammed down their throats by Republicans.

To their (dis)credit they and their Media and Academia organs have been able to rebrand both parties 180 degrees out of phase. All this while still practicing an even more effective form of racism - "The Great Society" - which had Blacks willingly race back to the misogyny of the Dem plantation even as it sapped their souls and ruined their families. Even as Republicans keep pleading to Blacks to come back home and save themselves - less government, welfare reform, school choice, etc. - 90% refuse. Now that's dependency; and it's worse than the master's whip.

Don't tell me, he's also blood brother to Geronimo.

Obama better get on this nonsense quick before it turns into a John Kerry moment.

Is he the first black Presidential candidate ever?  Why yes, he is.  Oh, unless we need some of those racist white people, in which case we'll be sure to tell them he's half white and half black, that his mother was white.  Oh wait, does that not screw up his being the "first black presidential candidate?"  Uhhhhhhh, uhh, ummm, errrr, lets not let that get in the way shall we?

Obama himself several months ago said (and I used to know the exact quote) that he had perspective, mentioning his multi-racial background.  I immediately saw thru that nonsense, seeing that he was wanting to be black, to get votes that are interested in that, BUT, not completely black, leaving the opening to always mention his bi-racial background wherever it may be convenient and might grab another voter or two.

These people are racists.  I wish there was some way to present candidates views without ever seeing their faces or knowing their race or gender, because sadly, too many Americans, who otherwise have no business voting, are voting not on issues, but on someone's skin color, which is nonsense and created an illegitimate presidential win when the numbers are such that it tips the scale to the candidate that receives the most "skin color only" votes.  Sad.

I seriously have NO problem with most blacks voting for Obama because he's black. Who are any of us to determine the "correct" reason for another citizen's vote?

You just have to concede someone who looks just yourself running for the most powerful political office in the world, for ther first time ever, is a genuinely historic event.

I think conservatives have to be gracious enough to understand that. It's misguided, but understandable.

My problem is that he's the wrong black guy who'll do nothing to shatter the Democratic plantation mentality.

My other problem is that hubristic liberal notion that Republicans oppose Obama because he's black.
