for the hack job Charlie and Stephanopolis did against Obama in the debate in the Primaries but this alone will make me forgive them. I can see they are making some effort to be more objective. It used to be just Republican talking points all the time on that network.

The fact the the Repubs have a Veep candidate with such a stunning family values problem is just sweet. They are getting a taste of their own bitter pill. This may not be a big deal to many ordinary Americans but the religious fanatics in the GOP will not tolerate this kind of lifestyle from Palin. Her daughter got pregnant out of wedlock and that is atrocious to them. I told you Palin would be a disaster and you never believed me now it is playing out in front of your eyes. I know many of you see this as a nightmare even though you won't admit it. The lunatic fringe in the GOP will cannibalize this pick like they did Harriet Miers. This is all good for me though. There is hardly anything I enjoy more than sitting back and watching Republicans devour themselves. 

What's damaging is the fact that their daughter got pregnant out of wedlock and they were trying to hide this from the media. This is HUGE guys. I smell a meltdown for the GOP.

Pretend this was Obama's daughter or Hillarys'. You know damn well they would be tearing them to shreds. This is why it is important to not be blindly partisan.

We are all human and don't always do what we would like to do. That does not mean you should not try to do what you KNOW is best. Libs don't like rules of moral behavior so they try their best to corrupt everyone to their level of standards. That is why the vehemently hate conservatives that stand for what they oppose. Like a rebelious teen who does not like "authority."

I missed that part regarding CNN sending someone to Alaska to dig up dirt.

But I have GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS about CNN'S coverage of this election.

First the BAD NEWS:

CNN, like all the other media, has come out of their liberal closet, and is making every effort to shovel dirt on Sarah Palin.

The CNN hit team, lead by Wolf Blitzer, spent most of the hour today on the Situation Room discussing Sarah Palin's daughter's pregnancy and the "scandal" regarding the firing of the state trooper.

The banner on the bottom of the screen read something like Breaking News - Palin's 17 year old daughter pregnant. That banner remained on the CNN screen most of the hour.

When the hour was over and it was Campbell Brown's turn, she had two Breaking News headlines. One was regarding the Hurricane, and the other, you guessed it, was about Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter's pregnancy. I immediately changed channels.

NOW for the GOOD NEWS:

CNN is at least FAIR and BALANCED in it's coverage. As you and everyone else at NewsBusters knows, CNN has spent a lot of time covering the close relationship Barry Obama continues to have with radical terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, his relationship with long time friend and neighbor convicted businessman Tony Rezco, the training Obama received by Chicago's Industrial Areas Foundation, founded in 1940 by the radical organizer Saul Alinsky, and the intimate and long-term association Obama has has with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn), the largest radical group in America.

Kudos to CNN for covering both sides fairly.  NOT!

Face the facts about Obama he's got Rezko, Acorn, Ayers, Wright, Emil Jones, Mayor Daly. He's up to his ears in corruption and has been so far left as to appose saving babies born alive in botched abortions. He systematically eliminated all of his competition by using technicalities in his senate primary race and then his Republican challenger got booted out because of smears. He threatened and intimidated radio stations. Anyone in his wake is shown no mercy while he gets a free pass.

If I were Governor, and a State Trooper threatened to shoot my dad, I'd be looking to at least fire the dirtbag.

And if the Head of the State Troopers didn't understand his officers shouldn't be threatening gun violence against citizens, I see a real need to fire that idiot too.

Now, explain how this is a problem for Gov. Palin?

I'll have to disagree with you here.

First, Obama and Biden both have skeletons, and here it is Labor Day and we haven't heard the media adequately discussing any of them.

When Biden was announced as Obama's veep, there was a collective "yipee" from the MSM. When Palin was announced, they couldn't get plane tickets into Juneau fast enough to investigate her.

Secondly, as much as Dems want to downplay Palin's lure to female voters, they're actively pushing women away themselves by smearing her children and questioning her motherhood. As Laura Ingraham said on BOR, that will endear her to middle class mothers who see the attacks as an assault on feminism.

And as far as pushing family values, I don't see this as big problem, and you know I'm quite involved in evangelical circles. It's not like Palin cheated on her husband or anything like that. It's a 17 year old girl and we all know how hard it is to control teens, especially in this day and age.

As to your reference to troopergate, like some of the others here have said, read up on it to get the whole story.

In short, I think Palin will survive because the base really believes in her and Obama took the high road in saying her kids don't matter.

On the second rumor he reacts.

But can he be proactive?  Not a chance.
