Look next to the definition of "Clinton loyalist" in the dictionary, and you're likely to find a photo of Lanny Davis. The man who would have put Baghdad Bob to shame for his unflinching flackery during Bill's Monica mess is back on the beat for Hillary. Yesterday, Davis wrote a HuffPo column purporting to set forth 10 Undisputed Facts showing Obama's weakness as a general election candidate against John Mccain. As Jake Tapper has observed, some of those "facts" are "both disputed and not facts," including the risible notion that Hillary didn't run any negative ads. Guess the commercial featuring Osama Bin Laden slipped Lanny's mind.
Davis was back at it on today's Morning Joe. After repeating his claim from the HuffPo column that Obama is in a dead heat with McCain in super-blue in Massachusetts while Hillary's up by 15%, Davis took his anti-Obama argument a giant step further. Davis claimed that Barack is on track to lose in a blow-out of epic, McGovernesque, proportions.

LANNY DAVIS: I feel badly for him and I have a great deal of respect for this man.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Duck!
DAVIS: My family members are [for] Barack Obama.
SCARBOROUGH: Duck: here it comes!
DAVIS: But there's a but. There's a but. He is still on the McGovern upper-income, liberal class, and he's got to break out of that or we could lose 49 states.
SCARBOROUGH: You're talking like a Republican.
This from a surrogate for the woman who claimed during the last debate that "yes, yes, yes" Obama could win.

April 24, 2008 - 14:29 ET by MassConservativeHe is doing exactly what he needs to do as a Clinton surrogate. He has to convince the super delegates that Obama is the black McGovern. One of the main reasons the super delegates came into being was exactly to avoid another McGovern.
Even if Hillary does not get the nomination in '08 she has to look forward to 2012. The only way she can do that is to:
1. Make sure Obama loses in November
2. Make sure he loses by McGovern like numbers so he is not even a viable candidate in 2012.
Kerry was pushed to the side after losing by 3 million votes and one electoral state (i.e. had Ohio swung differently). Imagine how unpalatable an Obama re-do would be were he to lose 30 - 35 states or more.

Possessing a black belt from the Clin-tong School of Political Jiu-Jitsu, Davis once again describes Obama --- the Dem primary leader --- as a big loser. If Davis tell us that something is blue, we can pretty well believe that it is red.
The reality is that for all Hillary Clinton's claims of experience and readiness "on Day One," she has picked a terrible set of campaign managers and strategists who squandered her 'inevitable' candidacy and placed her firmly in second place in a two-person race. Her health care team and product during her husband's administration suffered similarly from incompetent membership, lack of leadership, dead-on-arrival concepts, and poor salesmanship.
If Hillary becomes President, all 50 states lose.

If you are White and you don't vote for Obama, then you are a racist. Its affirmative action for the White house.
Never mind that Obama would be, arguably, one of the least qualified presidents in history given his paucity of leadership and legislative experience, and that his philosophical underpinnings are starting to shine through not as merely left, but radical left. None of this matters, and is just a distraction from the real issue, according to the MSM, of giving the White house to the democrats - no matter what.
But more reasonable people might take the position that if race conscious do-gooders want to celebrate the historic first of putting a Black person in the White house, maybe they should offer up a Black candidate who has real experience and is center-right like a majority of the American voters.
I hope he is right.
