People trust us to make decisions. We're experts in what we do. So I
thought if we really feel strongly about something let's just say so and we've done that a number of times since I've been back.

Trust you? Are you crazy? The only "experts" are the one's who think they are. Journalist are to report the facts, at least thats what I learned in school. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one.

Report the accurate facts and let John Q. Public make a rational decision/opinion based on that.

 The war on global warming? This is yet another example of lefties taking on an enemy that will never harm them. Don't worry about terrorism, but pull your hair out about the overhyped theory of "global warming" that can never be proved. It's a political topic, there is nothing scientific about it. As for Time's parody of the IwaJima image, it shows a total lack of disrespect towards the almost 40,000 Americans who died there. Then again, Time does'nt give a damn about our troops for the most part.

The problem with those pimping "global warming" are hellbent on destroying the American economy. The greenies are THEEEEE biggest threat to America by not allowing us to become energy independent. We can't drill for our own oil, we can't expand refining capacity, we can't build nuke power plants, & we can't expand our use of coal. Why? The left stops all of this in the courts. Then the solution is to take our corn crops & burn it in our gas tanks? We are killing ourselves by not fighting these A-holes tooth & nail. This crap needs to stop today.

No matter what we try to do to fight against natural processes like climate change, nature will always triumph. Remember New Orleans and their war against flooding? Well nature show them, and everyone else, just how foolish it is to try to stand in the way of natural processes. When the levies break, we have no place to stay.

If you were to dip it in lemon juice and expose it to the light, the words "Waste of" appear immediately preceeding the word Time. Case Closed!

As long as I live I will never understand the political left.  They refuse to see evil even when it is spitting in their faces, yet they see evil where it does not remotely exist.  They appear to be against fighting a known enemy, which has taken a public oath to destroy the U.S.A. and its people, while they support a full-scale "war" against something that cannot readily be defined.  They rail against the Iraq War as being "too costly" while having no reservations about fighting a global warming war, the cost of which cannot even be determined and, even if it could, we would never have a viable way of measuring the impact of any such action.  If we start to fight this gw "war," and temperatures continue to increase, what then?  Will they claim that they actually slowed the rate of increase?  What if temperatures start to drop?  Do they then take credit for all of the decrease, even though temps have already been dropping?  Ultimately, this gw fight is right up the left wing alley--an expensive debacle which will have no accountability attached to it and, therefore, no finger of blame can ever be pointed (whether world temps rise, fall or stay the same, they will claim they won).  And they ridicule Bush for giving a speech on an aircraft carrier with a "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him.

That's two institutional insults in a week. First that unfunny ass on HBO bashes the Pope. Now the dingus' at Time ragazine give a backhanded slap to the Marines.

Ho ho ho. Funny. Yeah, I get all my decisions made by TIME. What to wear for work, what shows to watch, and what I should waste my time and money on. I trust them with my very life! Praise be TIME! My life is complete. ;-)

If anyone wants to understand what's happened to the MSM, all they have to do is read that statement, that was highlighted. My God, there is no way I trust Time Magazine, or it's writers, to make decisions that affect the way the government is going to tax me, starve the people of the world, and screw up our energy supply for decades.  We already know Mr. Gore can't explain what's going on, with the climate, so why should we trust Time Magazine? 

Someone please tell this moron, all we want from Time Magazine is unbiased reporting, stick to the facts, and let us form our own opinion.  Just because Time has drunk the Gore Kool-aid doesn't mean we all have to.

I watched Morning Joe with Stengel this morning. I could not believe it when he opened his mouth and actually said,

"People trust us to make decisions."

That equates to: People trust us to make their decisions for them.

What a sanctimonious SOB... to a reasoned and rational person.
