as a former Seattle area resident, if my memory serves correctly, the "street of dreams" has been a fixture for over a decade. Most houses are demonstrators, and have been in place for quite a while. When there's a radically new design to be made, they "recycle" the lot and sell off, demolish or move the previous house. Mostly though it's a show for interior decorators, remodelers and high end entertainment/multimedia systems.

Not a lot of "sprawl" here. The ELF terrorists are attacking the "culture of consumerism" or some other jealous claptrap. Going after symbols they decided are wasteful or anti-Gaean. There is little to do with "sprawl" here or they might go after some of the growing shantytowns filled with illegals around here instead.

I wonder how much of their funding comes from overseas or domestic "islamic" charities too...

Arrest these twits & send them away for about 30 years. Well I hope that when these ELF members burn down property belonging to a local newspaper or news organization member that the headlines read "anti-tree cutting activists blamed". I'm sure that they wouldn't mind their homes being destroyed to keep the country 'green'.

And by the way instead of calling them ECOterrorists, just call them what they are: TERRORISTS. Plain and simple. There is no difference betweent them and Islamofascists who kill and maim and destroy.
