'The Strained Scurrying of the Also-Ran'

If that sound isn't the fat lady clearing her throat, it might be the MSM humming Hillary's dirge. Consider, for example, ABC national political correspondent Jake Tapper's Good Morning America segment today on the differences in tone between the Obama and Clinton campaigns. After playing footage of an angry Hillary waving allegedly misleading Obama campaign literature and then of a relaxed Obama laughing it off, Tapper had this to say.

JAKE TAPPER: There's a difference between a winner's confident stride and the strained scurrying of the also-ran.

Ouch.

Weekend anchor Kate Snow followed, opening her conversation with George Stephanopolous by describing "a darker mood" in camp Clinton and citing NY Times and WaPo articles that are very downbeat about Hillary's prospects. Snow mentioned that the WaPo article reported that supporters might urge her to withdraw if she doesn't win big on March 4th. "Could it be that she could get out?," asked Snow. Stephanopoulos: "I think there's quite a good chance of it."

After that kind of coverage, how'd you like to be a Clinton fundraiser picking up the phone today and trying to convince potential donors to pony up some cash?

OH. gosh, Mark, thanks for making me laugh this AM!!

However: Hillary withdraw? Is Steffie kidding? Does he think Bill will let her withdraw????? They will have to drag her out of the convention hall by her heels!!

Speaking of Bill, can you imagine the "Bill Clinton Venom and Vitriol Tour" he will go on when she fails???

She will have to be gracious, but his meltdown will be first-class entertainment (if he doesn't have a stroke in the middle of it).

The Emperoress truely

The Emperoress truely doesn't have any clothes -- which we have been saying for a long, long time, and which now even the Dim "elites" have to admit.

But...

But it's her TURN!

You can't take that away from Chubsy McPantsuit!

TnT, I know you meant that

TnT, I know you meant that metaphorically, but none the less: AAIIEEEEE! My eyes!  That is a mental picture I could have done without.  Excuse me while I look for the mind Clorox.

This is really hilarious.  Or, is that Hillaryous?  I guess Ms. Inevitable isn't so inevitable after all.  I had looked for Comrade Bubba and Her Thighness to divorce after he left the Whitehouse, but that didn't happen.  What do you guys think?  Will they divorce if she loses the nomination?  How about if she wins the nomination and loses the election?

"A communist is someone who reads Marx.  An anti-communist is someone who understands Marx."  Ronald Reagan

Divorce

I think a major breakup is very possible, not only in the Clinton household, but across Clinton-land. Rats will be jumping ship; back-stabbing will be taking place; and watch for all the stories to finally be told by those that no longer have to hold their tongues. This is going to be fun.

→ My sadist side

The sadist in me says "keep her alive and hopeful for another week".  I'm not tired of watching this fish yanking on the line.

I'm still hoping for a grand finale chock full of accusations and innuendo at her worthy opponent, Mr. Limpett.

I want to see fireworks at the convention.  Hillary's just got to drop the sissy bomb on Obama or it's all over.

♣ a seal

Notice...

...that she's wearing red now -- out for blood. I suspect (no, hope) the debate on Tuesday will be a snarkfest.

After her "change you can

After her "change you can Xerox" line that bombed (it sounded like she was waiting for an opportunity to get it in, but none presented, so she just dumped it in at the end), you think she'll learn?

Nah.

Her Royal Clintoness is not good at "snark."

It all comes out too reheared, facial expressions and all. No genuine feeling.

Why am I not surprised?

Good point.

O'Bama, on the other hand, seems very quick- and sharp-witted, but so far largely willing to hold his tongue. If she unloads on him first (no doubt the lines are being written right now), I'd expect some counterbattery fire.

The True Hillary

....aaaaah, this is the Hillary we have learned to "love". I guess she did not "poll" well after last weeks debate. Can not wait to see which Hillary shows up next week in Cleveland.

BTW, why would anyone want to vote for someone who has "managed" such a failed campaign. Maybe she should have spent more for donuts and less for her "million dollar" strategists !

So much for 35 years of experience....not sure see could run a popcorn stand. Can you say loser?

You were right, m.b.

Here's HRC's latest version of biting wit.

Jeez, what a lame-o. She should have offered some of those donuts to Michael Moore.

Poor Hillary...her biggest

Poor Hillary...her biggest mouth-piece isn't on her side anymore....

That includes the msm too.
