Monitoring the coverage of liberal media outlets CNN and MSNBC this evening, it seems clear that MSM sentiment is largely anti-Hillary, pro-Obama. Keith Olbermann for one seemed patently frustrated by Hillary's unwillingness to frankly acknowledge her defeat.

Hillary Clinton has issued a call to retroactively seat the delegates from Michigan and Florida that were ousted for holding their primaries earlier than allowed. She does so in the language of party unity:

Hillary has been a long time admirer of Saul Alinsky. In his book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky set out a number of rules for how to go about effecting radical political change. The 13th rule is Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. (For more on this see here.)
The Clintons have located the target, Obama. They are "freezing" him by forcing him into the role of the "black" candidate. They are "personalizing" him by attacking him on various fronts as an admitted drug user, or not taking strong positions politically, or being too inexperienced to be President. They will now try to "polarize" him by pointing out to non-black voters that his win in SC was the result of the number of African-American voters in the state, that he does not have the broad-based appeal a President should have.
What the Clintons are hoping for is that non-black voters will let "old" racial fears surface and instead of voting for the new, fresh face (Obama) they will vote for the old, familiar "white" face in Hillary in the upcoming Super Tuesday primaries.
The Clintons are the most selfish and calculating couple in American politics, today. They are showing they will say or do anything to get what they want even going so far as to attack another candidate for his race. This from the political party that supposedly is the one looking out for the welfare of minorities.

He started in show biz at the age of 12, and in fact had been a friend of Shemp Howard's since the early 1930s. He and Shemp even appeared in a movie together, "Africa Screams", which starred Abbott and Costello.
Joe was also a neighbor and lifelong friend of Lou Costello, and even filled in for Lou on Abbott and Costello's radio show. He became a regular member of the Abbott and Costello cast in the early 50s, becoming a cast member of their TV show. When he joined the Stooges after Shemp suddenly died, he was actually paid more than Moe and Larry were! He had to leave them the following year after his wife had a heart attack. He returned to show biz a few years later as a regular on the Joey Bishop tv series.
If you can find it, Joe's book "Not Just a Stooge" is a fascinating read. I have a copy signed by Joe.

Hillary either starts loosing this more often or come July 4th sex tapes show up and Patrick Fitzgerald will indict her.
People need to remember that the Clinton's were the most adept political liars ever in campaigning. There is no way in this world they would be carrying on like this as they are too gifted at dirty politics. They are taking a dive to save themselves.
Obama had better not get too comfortable in winning either as Patrick Fitzgerald is waiting in the wings to sink him too.
That leaves little John Edwards with not enough delegates in the end, but enough prodding to tell the super delegates to vote for the guy he is shilling for in Al Gore.
Personally, I could not stomach being Bernstein in knowing the only reason you got your book sold was so you would be obliged to come in and pile on old bag Hillary Clinton. That is not chivalrous and while Hillary would be horrid for the world...........I still have compassion on her as what the cartel is doing to her is fitting payback in humiliation.........it is nothing no one should be made to go through in having her nose rubbed in it.

I'm no wallflower when it comes to criticizing Her Royal Thighness, but I just do not see what Bernstein is saying about Hillary. She did look tired and disappointed, but not "shopworn". I would be too, even though she knew, as we did, that South Carolina was solid for BO, albeit the margin of victory was larger than I expected. She was "magnanimous" in her congratulations of BO for his win, she thanked the people of South Carolina, and she even thanked the band. She almost sounded... gracious.
So, while there is plenty to criticize about Clinton, the speech I saw in the video appeared reasonably appropriate to the moment. What is interesting, and certainly has an element of scheudenfraude, is how the Libs are eating their own, particularly the Clintons. Reminds me of the 'killer dolphins' post earlier today in NewsBusters.
I think BJ Bill has done a grave disservice to his wife and to himself with his recent tirades. Of course Hillary started the downhill snowball when she barked about Tim Russert's solitary tough question to her. The MSM and political pundits are finally excoriating them for their shenanigans.

I am sure the Clintons have some life in them still. South Carolina is an unusual state in its race demographics compared to the big delegate states that have yet to vote, ie a higher proportion of black residents. And South Carolina was thought to be in Obama's back pocket even before Bill went ballistic.
Hillary has cultivated a number of endorsements from those in the upper echelon of black citizens. Interestingly, she has a number of endorsements from Georgia but not South Carolina. Trolling google.com, I get the impression that a number of BO's endorsements come from those more in touch with the citizenry like newspapers, local politicians, religious leaders, etc. That's not to say that Clinton does not have her share, just that BO has more.
The local level endorsements, I believe, shape voters' opinions more since these endorsements come from individuals or entities the voters know or recognize best. BO is racking up more of these types of endorsements as the primaries roll out, adding to his appeal and veneer as a qualified candidate.
I will be happy to see the end of the Clintons as a political machine, but, I am wary of the payoff - BO. Still, I haven't heard the fat lady sing for Hillary. I expect even more dirty politics and scathing remarks to come. Better than Thunderdome in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome! Delicious, no?
