ABC Cancels Christian-Bashing Show ‘GCB’
Despite ABC’s best efforts to degrade Christianity and Texans, the anti-Christian hate-mongering series “GCB” (short for “Good Christian Bitches”) has been canceled because of poor performance in the ratings.
“GCB” earned significant backlash from both Christians and Texans, and had a dynamic history of mocking Christianity and the south. The worst of its agenda included advocating for porn in Christian marriages, malicious use of Scripture, an unholy fixation on sex and the sexualizing of teenagers, and more than 100 attacks on Christianity in its short run.
‘”GCB” was slated to replace the dying soap “Desperate Housewives,” but it seems audiences won’t be desperately supporting the renewal of the series.
Maybe next time Kristin Chenoweth and company will remember that red states and Christians won’t back down without a fight. Goodbye to “GCB” and good riddance.

4th of July, three day weekend 2012. All we needed was a date. A day of mutual cooperation and concern. A small sacrifice for a big cause. Do not turn on ANY liberal media outlets, or their programming counterparts, any network broadcasting, cable, cable news, or any outlet you may consider to be liberal at least to the biased level. This is growing across America, to see if we can make a dent large enough they can't hide. And if we can, the idea is set. It hits their advertisers and income. America wants some balanced news and social coverage.
NO TV July 4th Weekend - great idea!!!

This is a great idea. No TV, no theater movies (unless it is one of the non-leftist themed movies out) for the whole weekend of July 4th, 2012.
Let the Hollywood-ites realize it is the working, regular down to earth USA citizen - that they spit on and make fun of - who pays the bills and spends hard earned dollars on entertainment and needs.
It would also be a great way to focus on our families - camping, fishing, boating, BBQing, other family/friend focused events!
Get out of fake lives and into creating real memories and great times!
Give it a shot.

We seldom watch TV, but especially during the summer. Instead, we swim, cook-out, play games like horseshoes, croquette, scrabble, 42 (Texans will know), Skip-Bo, Catch Phrase, Apples to Apples, etc., etc., etc.
Send a message to the lib media, with the bonus of having fun and learning more about your family/friends/neighbors when you actually interact with them.

Lack of integrety? or Lack of an audience?

Saw this over the weekend and was very pleased. Good riddance to this awful, offensive, piece of trash TV.

UFB. Ugly Feminist Bitches. Now this show would be a blockbuster. Wait, what? They already have a show like that? It's called MSNBC? Oh, right.
To more fully comprehend the Left, one must read “Leftism As Psychopathy” by John Ray, M.A., Ph.D. Caution, it might scare you a little bit.

Money talks in Hollywood. The fact that the ratings were extremely bad would be enough for sponsors to pull their ads from the show and the network to jettison the production.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. The network might have to dispose of this as hazardous waste in that mine in Nevada.
It would be nice

but sadly this isn't entirely true if you study the stats, for all too often their evil antiChristian immoral agenda is more important to these fanatics than $, as seen in the fact that though G movies ALWAYS make more $ these lawless fascist perverts always want to push the envelope TOWARD the R spectrum far enough to have the evil titillation of their agenda but not actually AT it lest they lose too much $. As Dostoyevsky said, without God anything (evil) is possible.

But, I would watch one about the LBOM. It would make fun of the liberal bitches of the occupy movement.

The very premise of the show was rooted in hostility.
It was mean and offensive.
ABC was basically telling millions of people how much they despise them.
I hope they wasted a ton of money on it.

That's to bad. I watched the show to see what it was about. It was hysterical. Irreverent? Yes. But the show was really good. There was only one preachy episode I didn't care for. My absolute favorite episode was the musical.

The show was not funny. It was a Texas version of Desperate Housewives, and I think that 'genre' has come and gone a bit right now. There are far too many 'Real Housewives' shows w/ the same thing. Just watch the Dallas or Texas version of that vehicle, right?
Honestly, if it was funny, w/some heart, (some heartfelt truth, mixed in w/humor), it might have made it.
But, it wasn't. Saw parts of 2 episodes. No bother.
Pretty bad if I can get the same thing from The Simpsons, where the left usually aims at the right....but, they do it w/humor, and once in a while, a tidbit comes thru for the right....w/humor. Like South Park.
This was just not a funny tv show.
But, yes, we all know there would never, ever be a show about a send up of an Islamic community of women, a liberal enclave of East Coast college women, or of serious journalist women........ If they can poke fun at the right, it's on tv. If it pokes fun at the left, it doesn't make it pass the presentation stage in the meeting.
I never saw it.

Maybe next time you'll think twice before barfing out your hollywood-b@$tardized fantasies about what you think of Christianity, and trying to pass it off as 'entertainment'. Hopefully Bill Mahar, the View, MSNBC and all the other liberal dreck will soon follow your foul show to the dung heap of media history where they belong.

That was the worst show I had ever seen. I got thru about 15 minute of it one night and it was so terrible that I couldn't change the channel fast enough.

Cancelled due to "intolerance"
Submitted by jpwcpa on Mon, 05/14/2012 - 5:42pm.
You know that's going to be the spin of the producers, stars, etc of this trainwreck known as GCB. Right-wingers, they will say, wouldn't tune in to the show to give it a ratings boost, and this will somehow constitute proof that right-wingers are intolerant. And when the DVD comes out in June with all 10 episodes, it will likewise be the fault of conservatives if the DVD doesn't fly off the shelves.

I like Kristin Chenoweth. She did such a good job on her two Glee episodes... Believe it or not with a DVR I watch Glee for the music and skip by most of the story... that is, what story there is...
I haven't watched GCB because I didn't like the title. Yesterday after a six month hiatus I pulled the antenna wire back through the window and watched a little broadcast TV. This morning I disconnected and dropped it back outside. I'll watch what I want over my little Roku and on my computer. Good riddance

Now why in the Hell would ABC cancel this show?
Submitted by djwolf12 on Mon, 05/14/2012 - 8:34pm.
I guess it was because Modern Family is the "it" show. I honestly am starting to believe that the Pee Stream Media is HELL BENT on making Gay Marriage the ONLY marriage to ever happen in this country.
