YouTube: New Channels Cater to Lefties
YouTube released 100 new channels in April, and there’s not a conservative voice to be found. The site embraced lefty culture with a vengeance, and liberal voices rule the social realm. From former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur to lefty new age author Deepak Chopra, liberals are commonplace figures in the new content.
YouTube’s new channels make it an ideal video platform for the left. While the channels feature prominent liberal personalities, there are no conservative voices in the lineup. Instead, the channels feature the defamation of Christians, attacks on capitalism and advice to mothers from a former Playboy model.
Hardcore lefties will get their fix on Town Square, a rabid anti-conservative channel hosted by the George Soros-backed Young Turks and Cenk Uygur. Uygur, who was formerly affiliated with MSNBC, gleefully outlined how capitalist corporations are akin to slave labor, and brought in adult film actress Nina Hartley to discuss if monogamy is natural.
Huffington Post contributor Chopra will be able to preach his radical new-age sermons from his channel “The Chopra Well.”
Google-owned YouTube granted channels to liberal outlets like “The Onion,” which viciously mocked Christian quarterback Tim Tebow in a video about his trade to the New York Jets. The"humorous video" on their YouTube channel predicts that upon his move to New York, Tebow will become a “homeless crack addict,” and he will “fall in love with a man named Javier and engage in unprotected sensual discovery.”
Modern mothers will get a new dose of parenting advice from ex-Playboy model Brooke Burke, who ironically mused over the concept of when her daughters will lose their virginity. In her video she states, “I hope it is well thought-out.”
As predicted, Hollywood holds most of the clout, and five of the channels feature prominent left-leaning celebrities. DanceOn plugs controversial pop-star Madonna, who recently said she would love to play concerts in Iran and Syria. Al Gore advocate and rapper Pharrell Williams was bequeathed his own channel appropriately titled “i am OTHER.”
Although fellow rapper Jay-Z has benefited generously from the free market – with a worth of $450 million – he shills for the 99% and supports Occupy Wall Street. YouTube launched his channel LifeandTimes with the others.
Liberal actor Rainn Wilson, commonly known for his role as Dwight Shrute on “The Office”, will receive his own YouTube platform called “SoulPancake.” Here, he will spread his message that “the internet is the future of spirituality."
Although Red Bull was recently embroiled in a controversy over an ad which featured Jesus using his own name in vain, they also received a channel.
YouTube is certainly no stranger to racy and lewd content. Sexually explicit and graphic material is splashed amongst the videos, ads and sidebars; so it comes as no surprise when vulgar humor site MyDamnChannel is showcased. Their channel is overflowing with inappropriate innuendos and raunchy, sex jokes.
Other openly liberal publications will get their due such as Slate, and TakePart, the producers of Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth.”
YouTube did not respond to repeated inquiries about its new lineup. The company’s fixation on liberal ideology surely spawns from the top. Its parent company Google is known for leaning left, and Google CEO Eric Schmidt openly supports President Obama and the Democratic Party.

Al Sharpton

Who needs youtube to see complete idiocy? Yesterday on Politics Nation, Al Sharpton, when introducing a Romney bashing segment, he played multiple clips of SNL making fun of Romney, then played a clip of Debbie Blabbermouth Shultzforbrains criticizing Romney's policies, then went straight into analysis with some hack!!!!
Resist we much.
Lawrence O'Donnell also play

I didn't even realize that you tube had channels; however, who would
watch the "new" line up unless they were already deep into the
KoolAid? Regardless of one's political leaning, I just don't understand
how the media ignore flagrant lies.
Looking For An Alternative

Great...I recently began using YouTube as the place to upload (or is it download) digital videos I take with my family's Panasonic video recorder. The software includes a feature that allows uploading to YouTube as well as Facebook. No other options are shown. Seems to work fine so far.
I just went looking for a conservative alternative and discovered PopModal. Unfortunately it was very complicated and wouldn't accept the file extensions so my videos can't be uploaded there.
I hate doing having to support liberal businesses...even if it is free. I refuse to use Google as a search engine, so I use another called Zuula.com. For all I know they could be bigger libs than Google, but at least they're not billionaires. But no matter how hard I try, most times I end up with the libs when it comes to technologies because they are the only option, and frankly, when I find a conservative alternative it is never as good as the lib option. I'm willing to take a little pain for the conservative cause, but I wish we had more people involved in technology (and a lot of other things).
Talking heads

Most if not all Black talking heads have white blood. Let's start calling them
"white Negro."
I agree

I am sure Obama, Sharpton (Rev. Racist), and Jessie Jackson won't like to be known as white negros. Imagine the outrage the New Black Panthers will feel when we always refer to them as WHITE NEGROS LOL.
Just sayin.......

Youtube is the best site out

Youtube is the best site out there. I watch hundreds of videos. To be honest there is a hardcore libertarian element at youtube. But likewise, there are conservative videos as well as liberal ones.
I myself have been on crusade against Deepka Chopra since I figured out his beliefs on the tea party in 2009. But I like Brooke Burke. Not everybody you encounter has to agree with you 100%. Brooke hasn't come out and attacked anybody like dumb Deepka has.
I never knew Brooke was with playboy. She used host hosts on E! and now hosts Dancing With The Stars..
He'll I don't like Romney so that should get me in hot water in Moderate Republican circles. But I don't like Obama either. I'm a tea party conservative.
I guess my point is, a lot of celebrities I like were democrat, but I am surprised by those who lean to the right. However, these days that doesn't mean even the right-leaning people totally agree with me.
I can't do anything about the corporate leanings. It at least allows conservative viewpoints. Me I am anti-Obama. More than your Garden Variety right-wing person.
I'm in another ballpark because I attack the two party system, I don't like moderate candidates on the right, I think the tea party hasn't done enough and will probably vote for president the constitution party nominee.
I tend to agree with people who establishment types dislike and attack. So no place would be conservative enough for me, if I tried to push my ideology on everyone.
You can thank Obama, Bush, McCain and the two party system, the fast lurch to the left by the democrats and the go along to get along motto of republicans for my shift in 6 years to the far-right.
Again my point is, my ideology will probably not be in sync with most because they don't always agree with me. Otherwise, things would be vastly different at the moment. So Youtube will do for me.
Not Much Different
Submitted by SimJim on Wed, 04/11/2012 - 12:31pm.
You don't sound very different from me. I won't be voting for Romney because he refused to disavow RomneyCare (there's other RINO reasons, but that's the biggest). I supported Bachmann because she was a Tea Party stalwart right from the beginning.
We differ on supporting liberal businesses though. I can't stomach supporting businesses which then use money earned through my support to undercut my political beliefs. If I willingly support them, especially when there are other options, then I am hurting myself. If there were a decent alternative to YouTube for my personal videos I would use it in a heartbeat.
Same goes for celebrities. I attend a movie about once a year at the insistence of my kids. I rarely watch any new TV shows. I can find other ways to fill my time and entertain myself rather than empowering people working against the interests of myself, my family, and my country.

By not voting for Romney you are willingly supporting Obama. How's that for hurting yourself?
Romney's not perfect. He's not even my first choice. But I'll hold my nose and vote for him.
