Fusion Tries (and Fails) to Make Climate Change Cool

Come on Fusion, you can do better than that. If you want to convince the millennial generation to think climate change is cool, this isn’t going to cut it. A balding white Canadian and wannabe-rapper in his 30’s is not going to be the driving force to convince your readers to buy what you’re selling.

The rapper, Baba Brinkman, has his own off-Broadway show in which he goes on, and on, and on about the dangers of climate change for 80 minutes. If his show is anything like this cringe-fest he put on at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in front of easily over five whole people, the audience is in for a treat. And when I say treat, I mean it in terms of getting a root canal or having to read hyper-left opinions on Fusion all day.

We’re actually kind of embarrassed for the guy. He raps in what looks like a diaper for 5 minutes about how religion is bad and self-describes himself as a rapper who “tackles the most intelligent, most informative, most complex subject matter imaginable in rap songs.”

Brinkman is said to be very aware of the hypocrisy of flying in a jet to Paris when climate change is all you preach about (or rap about, in this case). But he doesn’t care because he says policy prescriptions are more important than individual actions.

Yes, rather than leading by example and minimizing your own impact on the environment, he leaves it to someone else. Ripped out of the “How to be a Liberal Playbook” page 1, chapter 1 rule 1: Never actually practice what you preach. Wait for others to do it first.

The author of the article, Fusion’s Ari Phillips, is a certified, grade-A climate change alarmist. This is the same guy who floated the idea of getting humans to give up half the earth to animals and nature. Sure, all he did was introduce the idea… but really, that’s bad enough because something that insane should not even be given attention.

P.S if you want a taste of what his show is like, here you go.

Just a quick heads up though, it’s awful. You’ve been warned.
