NBC Touts 'Exclusive First Look' At Obama Campaign Propaganda
On Thursday's NBC Today, correspondent Peter Alexander excitedly promoted an upcoming Obama campaign ad disguised as a documentary: "Next week the Obama campaign will release this 17-minute documentary about the President's first term in office. And Today was given an exclusive first look."
In the first clip, actor Tom Hanks narrates: "How do we understand this president and his time in office?" The next clip is of Vice President Joe Biden praising the President's decision to kill Osama Bin Laden: "As he walked out of the room, it dawned on me. He's all alone. This is his decision. Nobody is standing there with him."
Making sure viewers knew the liberal star power behind the campaign video, Alexander remarked: "And by the way, you may recognize a familiar voice, Ann, in that documentary, its narrator is Tom Hanks." Seemingly surprised co-host Ann Curry replied: "Huh, it did sound familiar, Peter Alexander. Thank you so much."
Here is a portion of Alexander's March 8 report:

TOM HANKS [NARRATOR, OBAMA DOCUMENTARY]: How do we understand this president and his time in office?
ALEXANDER: Meanwhile, next week the Obama campaign will release this 17-minute documentary about the President's first term in office. And Today was given an exclusive first look.

JOE BIDEN: The entire national security apparatus was in that room. And now we had to make a decision. Go or not go. As he walked out of the room, it dawned on me. He's all alone. This is his decision. Nobody is standing there with him.
ALEXANDER: That clip is, of course, referencing the President's decision to order the killing of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan last spring. And by the way, you may recognize a familiar voice, Ann, in that documentary, its narrator is Tom Hanks.
ANN CURRY: Huh, it did sound familiar, Peter Alexander. Thank you so much.

Let me guess. The President doesn't come off looking too bad in this documentary.
Oh shoot, sorry if I ruined it for everyone.

That's like giving GE a pass on their taxes.
No, that's like giving heroin addict, Robert F Kennedy Jr. $1.4 billion because uncle Teddy threw early support to the Obama campaign.
OK, it doesn't rise to past levels of past Obama corruption, but it's certainly in keeping with the narrative.

It's disgusting. If it was MSNBC, I could understand, but this is NBC pushing this propaganda, a major network.
The Question: Will the FEC rule this a political ad?

Does a 17-minute "documentary" of (by) Obama constitute political advertising, requiring NBC to provide an equal amount of free air time for the Republicans?
Time to raise the Bravo Sierra flag.

While serving we were prohibited from doing anything political while wearing a uniform or being identified as a member of the military.
It pains me to see our President to wrapping SEALskin garments to promote himself.
A pox on anyone who enables the facade. We deserve better.

Heck, NBC's "first look" was just about unavoidable

Of course, NBC had an "exclusive" first look.
The real question is how much of a role did NBC have in producing the
documentarypropaganda, both directly and indirectly.- Looking forward to the self-annihilation of the Manipulated Stories Machine.

Exclusive?

Just got back from lunch and the place had CNN on. Guess what? Amazingly they also had an "exclusive" first look at this new white house propaganda film. Let's just say Gary Sinise narrated a film for Romney or any other candidate other than O. Would CNN, NBC, et. al. breathlessly promote it as an exclusive in what is essentially a free campaign commercial? Sorry, rhetorical question.

Could you imagine the media uproar if Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum made a thirty-minute infomercial? They'd be screaming bloody murder! But, of course, this is their idol, so this rubbish is perfectly OK. Pass more barf bags, please...

“The Road We’ve Traveled” under the current occupant, is heading straight over a CLIFF. Time to turn the "buggy" around. At this point, it doesn’t matter who the new "driver" is, that turns it– only that he actually DOES it before it’s too late.

I don't know what you people are so mad about.
NBC has to have some method so they can be told what to say.
