this job.   As of January 20th, he's not going to know what hit him.  He's gonna have to be on the

Won't be able to sleep late and can't wait to see

that black hair turn completely white.   The job

has a way of aging presidents unmercifully

As they loll on the beach counting the myriad ways the 'man' is keeping them down, we will struggle to stay in our homes, clinging bitterly to our guns and religion, and freezing our @sses off in the latest wave of global warm, cool, uh climate change.

Anyone see it reported by our magnificent media? Did the compasionate one rush to visit her grave/rememberance plot once he arrived in Hawaii?

Please don't tell me she's in COLD STORAGE until he can fit a date in his busy diary. That would be HIDEOUS.

Wait, how many times did Bush go to an expensive luxury rental property on his vacations in the 8 years he was President? 

 Who actually did pick up the tab, after all the same congress that chided the Big 3 Auto Execs when they used private Jets have nothing to say about the money being used for this???

It's a great, funky little town. Has been for decades. It's one of the only towns on the entire island of Oahu that hasn't been over-developed. When I made my first return visit there a few years ago after having not seen the place since 1966, I was amazed at how little it had actually changed. Kudos for that.

However...the media isn't reporting the drug addiction problems the area is going thru with Ice (crystal meth). Kailua's had major problems with that. The house we rented right on the beach (about 2 blocks from where Barry is now) was visited by a meth-head our third night there. When we recounted the incident the next morning to the friendly guy living in the house across the alley, he just laughed and said "I can't even leave my sneakers out on my front step. They get stolen". He was a retired FBI agent.

Just last weekend, the entire beach was closed-it had flooded with raw sewage which turned Kailua Bay light brown. Kailua's ancient public sewer system is legendary-much of it is over 50 years old and a lot of it has never been upgraded. They have been upgrading the section along the ocean for 5 years now, and it apparently never ends.

The place Barry is staying was once the estate of Harold Castle. He owned basically the entire town, starting in 1917, and donated pieces of land in town for assorted churches and other institutions. As his bio says:

"Mr. Castle donated land for churches of all different denominations because he felt that churches would bring congregations, congregations would bring stability, and that would benefit the community that was growing around them."

He also donated the land nearby to the US, and it's now US Marine Corp Base Hawaii (it used to be called Kaneohe Bay MCAS).

Castle also donated land near the churches for the hospital that bears his name. Castle Hospital, later named Castle Medical Center, is sadly basically only known for being the place where The Man Who Shot John Lennon worked before he left for New York and his date with history. Chapman's wife in fact still lives in Kailua.

Obama should just stay in Hawaii and govern from his throne.

This is mean, but I hope that sanitation system burps while O&M are frolicking in the waves.  This overindulgence is disgusting when the rest of the U.S. are tightening their belts this Christmas.  Their big huge jet that they chartered to get them out there left a huge carbon footprint, too.  Oh well, maybe that will warm things up around here, as I'm sick of subzero temperatures.

I have said this on another thread on Newsbusters,  but it is worth repeating.

What traditions are the Obamas teaching their children while they laze in the sun? Will there be a crib, a manger, a story about the first Christmas?

What about the sound of reindeer on the roof?

This is outrageous of the first family. The worst part is that they are telling other American families that Christmas is not worth celebrating. I detest these most prominent secular-progressives.
