Assuming that Gates is the superstar that Page claims him to be shouldn't he know who his neighbors are as well...?   I would bet that most of the people on that street couldn't pick their neighbor out of a line up.  Including Gates.

Yes yes yes. We know Chris Matthews cannot be relied up on to accurately report the facts. I am at a complete loss to understand why he still has a televison show anyway. Clearly the minimum standards of quality at MSNBC are ... well. Phooey, we all know that MSNBC has no standards. They have proved it over and over again.

Our only recourse is to pound the the stuffing out of MSNBC with our telephone calls, our emails, our letters. Snail mail is highly effective, because it can't be deleted with a few key-strokes. Tell the network when Matthews has gone over the line. If you don't complain, it will never change. Never give up.

Character assassination and destruction of anyone who dares to cross the Kenyan Turd or his so-called friends. That's the Chicago way. That's the Leftist way. That's the modus operandi of the group of thugs in the WH and the media.

It would be true justice if law enforcement stopped protecting these people.  Let them call a Harvard professor, media face, or a Community Organizer (ie, one of their own) if they need help with a burglar, robber, home invader, car thief, or attacker.

Mr. Matthews, you owe Ms. Whalen an apology...big time.

Sarah Palin specifically mentioned it in her fairwell address a couple of days ago. They make things up, sometimes as hypotheticals and sometimes just out of thin air, and then "report" as if those things are true.

This is a case in point. Matthews couldn't even wait a day for the audio to be released. He had to vilify a person based on an assumption of his own while admitting that he wasn't there. Is that supposed to be some kind of excuse or liability clause? All it does is make him seem petty, unprofessional and biased.

This was a local story at best. But the liberal media wanted to make it a national story about race, so they interjected their own strawman into the story and reported as if that were the main point. They even got an immature and rookie President to comment on it when he had no clear idea of any of the facts. Now it turns out that the liberal media, the President and all the talking heads on the liberal networks were WRONG! But - and here is the important part - the damage is done. Both to the police officer and to the good samaritan who was trying to protect her neighbor's house while he was away on vacation.

I guess that too many people were beginning to grumble and camplain about what Obama is doing, so they had to figure out a way to interject race back into the national conscience. That will at least bring up some of the false guilt in the white people that got Obama elected in the first place. He gets to look like a champion for the oppressed again instead of a power grabbing marxist.

Not only did Mrs. Whalen never mention race, she is also not a neighbor, as she states that she does not even live in Cambridge.

Here's a tip to the neighbor: the next time ANYTHING is going on at Professor Hate's house, I-G-N-O-R-E......I-T!  If he is laying out in the yard needing a paramedic, ignore it; the paramedic might be white, if a fire breaks out at his house, ignore it; the firefighter might be white, if you absolutely feel the need to call someone, don't give them the address unless you have a reassurance that they will send a "person of color" to Professor Hate's house.  Better yet, just drive to the first payphone you can find and place the call anonymously.

Gates is a "superstar"?  Sorry, but before this happened most of American hadn't heard of this guy, and with good reason.  It's not as if he's Stephen Hawkins. 

Regardless of profiling, the image you present in public is the image people have of you.  If cops profile it's based on their experience with criminals.

Perhaps she should have adopted the mindset of a certain section of American society that lives by the credo "Don't Snitch".  Then she wouldn't be getting smeared as a racist by the on-air "talent" at NBC.  And professional race-baiters like DOCTOR Dyson.

Remember the apparently outdated concept called "Neighborhood Watch"?  Some silly notion that a community of folks could help each other out by reporting suspicious activity to the police.

Great job by Dyson and Page, too--our old buddy Skip, what a smokin' rock star professor,  etc. Page, at least, is some kind of journalist-you know, handling facts and so on. Not this time. Eugene Robinson fell into step, too...It's all so business as usual in America. 

Mr. Mathews.  Hopefully if someone breaks into your house, all of your neighbors will have the good sense to mind their own business and NOT call the police.
