We should take out ads in college newspapers saying, "Thanks for voting for Obama, I'm sure you'll be proud to serve in his army if you like it or not." 

Frankly, I can't wait until the Dems bring the draft back, and they will. Choices have consequences. Those of you so desperate for change, congratulations....you got it. You're going to get the very things you were so wrongly concerned that Bush would do to you, and it's going to come from your own side, lol. 

Watching the true believers wake up from their Obama-induced drunken stupor as reality sets in is going to be delicious indeed.

Understand something, people.  THIS IS HUGE!  

This is not the "peace core" that they try to make it out to be.  This is "The Animal Farm" when they took the puppies!  This is a communist re-education camp that they are going to try to force all young Americans to go through.  This is nothing more than a factory for turning our youth into Obama voting liberals at best, but probably Brownshirts to be realistic about it.  Look up "Public Allies" and read up on it.  This is exactly what this program is modeled after.

Barack Obama was a founding member of
the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became
executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993.
Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his
campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls
his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American
youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be
brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need
of "social change."

The pitch Public Allies makes on its Web site doesn't seem all that
radical. It promises to place young adults (18-30) in paid one-year
"community leadership" positions with nonprofit or government agencies.
They'll also be required to attend weekly training workshops and three
retreats.

In exchange, they'll get a monthly stipend of up to $1,800, plus
paid health and child care. They also get a post-service education
award of $4,725 that can be used to pay off past student loans or fund
future education.

But its real mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to
bring about "social change" through threats, pressure, tension and
confrontation — the tactics used by the father of community organizing,
Saul "The Red" Alinsky.

"Our alumni are more than twice as likely as 18-34 year olds to . .
. engage in protest activities," Public Allies boasts in a document
found with its tax filings. It has already deployed an army of 2,200
community organizers like Obama to agitate for "justice" and "equality"
in his hometown of Chicago and other U.S. cities, including Cincinnati,
Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington.
"I get to practice being an activist," and get paid for it, gushed
Cincinnati recruit Amy Vincent.

Public Allies promotes "diversity and inclusion," a program paper
says. More than 70% of its recruits are "people of color." When they're
not protesting, they're staffing AIDS clinics, handing out condoms,
bailing criminals out of jail and helping illegal aliens and the
homeless obtain food stamps and other welfare.

Public Allies brags that more than 80% of graduates have continued
working in nonprofit or government jobs. It's training the "next
generation of nonprofit leaders" — future "social entrepreneurs."

The Obamas discourage work in the private sector. "Don't go into
corporate America," Michelle has exhorted youth. "Work for the
community. Be social workers." Shun the "money culture," Barack added.
"Individual salvation depends on collective salvation."

"If you commit to serving your community," he pledged in his Denver
acceptance speech, "we will make sure you can afford a college
education." So, go through government to go to college, and then go
back into government.

Many of today's youth find the pitch attractive. "I may spend the
rest of my life trying to create social movement," said Brian Coovert
of the Cincinnati chapter. "There is always going to be work to do.
Until we have a perfect country, I'll have a job."

Not all the recruits appreciate the PC indoctrination. "It was too
touchy-feely," said Nelly Nieblas, 29, of the 2005 Los Angeles class.
"It's a lot of talk about race, a lot of talk about sexism, a lot of
talk about homophobia, talk about -isms and phobias."

One of those -isms is "heterosexism," which a Public Allies training
seminar in Chicago describes as a negative byproduct of "capitalism,
white supremacy, patriarchy and male-dominated privilege."

The government now funds about half of Public Allies' expenses
through Clinton's AmeriCorps. Obama wants to fully fund it and expand
it into a national program that some see costing $500 billion. "We've
got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful,
just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military, he said.

The gall of it: The Obamas want to create a boot camp for radicals
who hate the military — and stick American taxpayers with the bill.

We propose universal civilian service for every young American. Under this plan, All Americans between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will be asked to serve their country by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and community service.

All those young people saying 'yes we can' are soon gonna be yelling 'no we won't'. Sure hope Canada & Mexico are ready for the massive influx of draft dodgers!

oh, and tax cheating Charlie Rangel should not be allowed to use the word, 'hypocritical'.  ever.

What Obama is proposing is nothing new.  This tatic has been used in this country before. 

In short, Obama wants his own private army.  His words were:

" a civilian security force, as large as, and as well funded as our military".

This got me thinking, what about our National Guard, Air Guard, etc?  Then I remembered when this had happened before, Mussolini!

In an earlier post someone had mentioned "brown shirts", no, this is more like "black shirts" that Mussolini used.  I do not think Obama's forces will be rascists or anti-semetic as the brown shirts were.  More like thugs, like the black shirts were.  Bone breakers and head bashers.   

These proposals will unloose an army of shovel leaners in all segments of our society. Worse than that, though, forcing people to serve the government is slavery. They will hold high school diplomas and college degrees as the bait so that young Americans will walk blindly into modern day slavery.

Stuff like this is the number one reason I voted against Barack Obama.

It also points out another mistake the McCain campaign made. They campaigned against a man who wants to build an Animal Farm corps with the slogan "Country First." McCain's message blended into Obama's too much. If he was going to put anything but God first in his campaign slogan, it should've been "freedom."

I can only imagine how the media portray these little re-education corps as the government equivalent to church youth groups. They'll actually be the start of one segment of our society saying that some are more equal than others. It's so Orwellian that it scares the pee out of me. It makes me sad for my young children, who may reach their adulthood notknowing what true freedom is. I'll teach them liberty and freedom, and I hope it sticks with them.

I hope they remember that their father was a Contra when they receive their shovels and their ration of beets.

I am going to have hope against hope that BO is just talking out of his ass. I am going to hold onto the small chance that when he won the election and was briefed for transition, that he was or will be rudely informed that his plans are shite and that he has neither the authority nor the influence to implement his radical ideas. I pray that they will not come into fruition and become only broken campaign promises of a smooth-talking nutjob.

Buy as many copies of 1984 and Animal Farm as you can and give them to all the young people you know as Christmas gifts,!!!

To all you young slackers that voted for Obama:  get your Mao jackets and your little red books ready because you're gonna need'em.

Let's face it, conscription is one of the easiest ways the government can create jobs.  Need to cut unemployment by a million, send out the draft notices.

This is so scary on so many levels.  I know I am not alone to say this, but I feel that the United States as we know it with cease to exist.  And as much as Canada has a strangle-old on "free thought" and "religious belief" now considered "hate speech;"  we will be "moved" by "governmental insitutions" (like our schools and the courts) to the left of Canada.

There will be few havens of conservative belief and government, but as the BORG claimed, "resistance is futile.  You will be part of the collective."

People need to be afraid...very afraid...

If any of these things get passed and attempted to be enforced I think it will be time for a major revolution.,,if people sit idle and comply this will be the end of this great country as we know it...one great example were the Black Panthers blocking white people from voting....I heard a caller this morning on the Wa. Journal talk about this very thing that happened to her parents in their eighties who feared going in to vote...this is basically being ignored too by the msm...it sure as heck shouldn't be...this should be a major story...questions from the reporters yesterday could of at least had one about this to Obama, even though what he said in reply would of most likely been false...still, this is spooky.
