I grew up in Alaska, and many people have a similar secessionist attitude towards the federal government. It's not that we hate America and want to leave, its that we can't stand having 90% of the land owned by the Federal Government and have them slowly take over more and more while they kill our small towns.

I used to be just annoyed with these people. But now I think I'm really growing to hate them. I find their specious attacks on everything Republican to be tiresome and infuriating.

I just finished reading a Marxist blog that the whole global meltdown can be laid at the feet of Capitalism and that capitalism must go... by force if necessary. Can you believe it? The Socialists and Marxists cause the problem by interfering with Capitalism and trying to control the markets, and when that Marxist interference blows up in their faces... they blame it on Capitalism.

Now, they're trying to say that Todd Palin is a terrorist because he was a member of a political party that wanted to secede, yet their own guy has been palling around for years with a guy who said he didn't plant enough bombs and didn't blow up enough people...

These people make me so mad, I don't know what to do... but I can tell you I'm stocking up on food and ammo.... and batteries, solar panels and a windmill just in case the excrement hits the fan.

I am surprised that a state hasn't sucsseded yet, to be honest. I can see it happening in Alaska, Montana or somewhere similair. I say more pwer to them and when you get right down to it; the lower 48 needs Alaska much much more than Alaska needs the lower 48. 

You Mr. Press are a partisan hack -- covering for Obama as usual.  You couldn't wear Todd Palin's jockstrap -- and Gov. Palin would destroy in a one-on-one discussion.
