The liberals are "all in" on this one. They have to be. If the McCain ticket wins, they are screwed so bad it will stick out their backsides. Even if McCain loses, Gov Palin will still be around for 2012 -- She must be destroyed at all costs.

More outright lies about Sarah coming from the "elite" media. Matthews, of course, is one of these liars. And I find it deliciously ironic that it is the Repubplican Party which is quickly becoming the party of real "change". Sarah does not represent the "elites" in the media or the "elites" in Washington. In fact, she is the opposite of them.  That's why they despise her and are trying to destroy her. She's not from Harvard or Georgetown, she's not got her nose in the air. Here comes Sarah, our nextdoor neighbor with 5 kids and a husband in a union,---what? Now she's got the "elites" shaking in their boots! She doesn't believe that her 17 yr. old daughter's child will be a "punishment",  but rather another gift from God, as is her own new baby. She doesn't believe in all the "elitist" claptrap. And she and John are about to bring our government back to the people. They are about to clean house. And the Dems and the media hate them for it. Yes, change is on the way--- not from a "rock star" but from John and the litttle girl down the street. WOW!

Juan Williams also brought up that smear on Brit Hume's show on Monday. Fred Barnes patiently waited for his turn to talk, then let Juan know that it was false. It was then, and only then, that Mara Liasson piped up, "yes, that's been refuted" or something like that.

So, even when they know something is false, they continue to let the lies circulate, unless called on it.

What horrible people they have proven themselves to be, eh?

Chris and his cohorts are going absolutely nuts over the Palin pick.  I am thoroughly enjoying their misery.  It underscores just how powerful a pick Palin is. 

McCain has stolen the media spotlight from the dalibama and reframed the debate. 

You can count me as one of the many conservatives who are "energized" (finally) for November.  The more she is attacked,  the more I will advocate for them - I even kicked in some bucks.

Lastly, McCain should also exploit the fact that her husband is half Innuit Eskimo.  If that is indeed true we need to point out that the opposition to Palin and her family is not only sexist, it's racist.

Is this what they mean by hoisting oneself on your own petard?

If the media is so against secessionist politics, they should take a look at the policies of the congressional delegation from Hawaii, especially Sen. Akaka (D).

Here's a fringe group that Matthews can attack.

Except for telling outright lies about the Ayers connection and the CAC, the campaign has done everything in its power to show us that it does not believe there is a free speech right to examine Obama’s record — such of it as has not been buried or “lost.” The unexamined life of Barack is what they prefer we vote on.

In any event, despite these objectionable tactics Kurtz was able to tell us a bit about what he found in the first few days of the five-day window he’s been given to study the CAC files.

He reiterated what I’ve said earlier: CAC seems to have gone through $110 million to fund an educational program which two assessments — one by the Annenberg Foundation and one by an outside team — both found had accomplished nothing for the public school children of Chicago. It is still unclear how and why Obama was made chair of the CAC, but so far it seems that former Weathermen bomb-maker and leader Bill Ayers picked him for the slot. 

And

...the story was that Ayers was an old professor in Mr. Obama’s neighborhood who just happened to host a fundraiser for him in 1995 which launched his political career.

Some mush was thrown in along the way about having served with him on a charity board, but Obama did not correctly describe the charity or the dates or the extent of their association on it.

The truth is that the two men worked closely together for years, beginning several months before that 1995 fundraiser. The fund Obama chaired and which was supposed to improve public education in Chicago never met its stated purpose of improving public school pupils’ performance and, in fact, probably hindered it, despite having blown through $110 million in the process. And as chairman of this group Obama funneled this money to politically useful types including Fidelistas and Maoists who like Ayers (now vice-president elect of the American Education Research Association) are working to make our public schools indoctrination centers for the left .

Once the public learns more of the CAC, will the voters decide that the manner in which Obama exercised his sole opportunity at executive authority was so good that he deserves the keys to the Oval Office?

And finally, in case you're a democrat or a member of the MSM, Bill Ayers is not a nice man.

I'm having some trouble figuring out what exact position the MSM is taking on Palin.

One minute Alaska is a useless wasteland with 13 people and some caribou, and the next it's a vital part of the union.

PS I love how the video shows them blatantly ignoring the facts. Matthews is told straight out that the story is false, but they continue right on talking about how damaging it is for Palin. Truth literally does not matter to these people.
